Hello Everyone, Please I am new here. I have a question that I would really appreciate to get answered. 1. I have 2 withdrawn profile on my express entry due to some mistakes I made in the filling of my application in the work experience section. Please I will like to know if this will not affect me after the submission of my PR, documents and I hope the visa officers will not make not make reference to the withdrawn application incase there are some information that does not tally. Thank you very much as I await your responses, advise and recommendations 🙏 |

Tvickie:Yes you should unfreeze it. Someone here had same ADR a while back. ‘Unfreeze’ it and show the paper trail from when the gift was deposited =>FD=> back in accessible savings account and highlight it in your statement of account. + a new bank reference letter. U can add a short LoE to provide clarity. e.g I received gift deed on xx/xx/2025 and to ensure the funds is exclusively for settling in Canada I invested in FD on xx/xx/2025. I liquidated the investment on xx/xx/2026 and the said fund is now accessible in my savings account with XYZ bank ltd blah blah blah. All the best!! |

This is the actual ADR I got. I’m worried about the proof of income etc. I provided all these documents when I submitted except the tax slips. I’m a bit unsure why they’re asking again MayorOfEdmonton:

Just created my profile and I have a 436. How certain is this score of receiving an invite? |

Hi all, my younger brother got an ADR for tax form. I’m assuming that’s the tax clearance certificate which we have. The problem is the gross annual pay on the tax cert is different from the gross pay at his work place—it’s about 1M more on the tax cert. this is because he self declared his other source of income to the Internal Revenue Service in Ogun state. So from his employer, he earns 120k in a month but he does side gigs: lesson teacher, completes assignments for students in uni for cash payment around 10-11k every month and he declared it for taxes so they’ve just always added it to his primary employer’s tax deduction. But he didn’t declare this to IRCC cos he didn’t want to complicate his application since it’s a cash payment and no proof of it. Should we go ahead to submit the tax cert as requested and wait for an explanation or should we provide an explanation for the discrepancy upfront? I’ve read that putting extra info complicates applications that’s why we’re confused. I’d appreciate any advice pls. Thank you |

Hello, I would like to get some guidance on possible ways to improve my CRS score. My professional experience of over 7 years has been in HR with masters. I was also able to get an average of 11 in CELPIP test but I can see my experience is not in any of the preferred NOC categories. I still entered the pool, CRS score of 454 what are my chances and what can I do boost my CRS score at this point ? |

Aderonke40:Hello, yes there is a strong probability that IRCC officer will juxtapose your previous profile(s) with the current one for inconsistencies. It's what they do now. Many people luckily get PFL, but unfortunately some others get outright rejection without the chance for fair hearing. If you haven't submitted your application yet, do well to declare all the previous work experiences you deleted, edited or left in your previous/present profile under personal history. The screenshot I attached was just yesterday.

Goodday sirs/madams I’m in the middle of my PR application. The thing is I could get married before the year runs out, which could be some months after getting my PR God willing. Please how soon can I sponsor my new spouse after getting married? I am also worried about the sudden marriage status with IRCC plus she could get pregnant or have a baby during the process. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by PrettyRX: 1:41pm On Mar 07 |
Imo, bank statements are weightier if one wants to show additional documents because IRCC can see the salary trail. If they didn't specify on tax return for adr, you can use bank statements to easily justify your employment. But if they asked specifically for tax return, you may need to seek a professional consultant as this is complicated to avoid misrepresentation. Switchbuck41: |

Hello. Everyone I and my wife are planning to apply for the Canada PR. She is a medical professional (Radiographer and on the way to get her Radiotherapy degree as well). I am a Perp Trader for a living. We have done our bits with the CSR thing and we would sit somewhere at 494. What are our chances.. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by TallNigerian: 2:47pm On Mar 08 |
Bunsenbun:No general draw for a while now, so consider the healthcare category draw. How did you arrive at 494? Have you both sat for IELTS? Check if your occupation is included among the eligible NOCs gor healthcare category. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by chimzyblack(m): 6:00pm On Mar 08 |
This is one of the best way to evade getting refused. If you have multiple profiles with different NOCs ensure to declare all the work experience both in the previous profile and in your current profile in the personal history section of your EPR application. You will most likely get a PFL, but doing this, gives you a slim chance of getting Approval if you can properly explain the discrepancies and you have supporting documents to backup your explanations. chimzyblack:Please i recently got ITA, meanwhile in my expired profile i had 3 different work history, same as my new profile in which i got ITA from But the issue is, one of the work history expired profile carried a wrong date (had work start in feb 2020 and ended feb 2022, and on my new profile, the work history is corrected to start 2018 and end 2019) Please what should i do as regards this? |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by TheJayJay(f): 4:47am On Mar 09 |
I think you should thoroughly explain it in your personal statement as a mistake. KASZYLIEZ: |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by TallNigerian: 8:10am On Mar 09 |
TheJayJay:To add to this, please ensure your letter of explanation is properly worded. The first good thing as Chimzyblack has rightly stated is that you are informed about how this can affect your application and so declaring this yourself before an officer finds out gives you some leverage. But most importantly, avoid using certain trigger words in your LOE that make it appear as though you were misrepresenting. Saying it was an error is good. Also, avoid explanations that do not add up or that can trigger extra scrutiny. All the best. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by KASZYLIEZ: 12:34pm On Mar 09 |
TallNigerian:Thank you so much. Though i already have reference that carried the date for the particular job. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by chimzyblack(m): 1:44pm On Mar 09 |
Having a reference letter might not be enough, and just plainly stating that it was a mistake, might also not be enough, there has to be a proper justification as why you mixed up your employment dates in two different profiles. Question that might need answers include In the expired profile was there another work experience in the 2018-2019 time frame? In the new profile that got ITA what work experience finally replaced the 2020-2022 time period after you corrected it to the "Right" time period. If possible can you list out all the work experience with the time period contained in the two profiles I am just preparing your mind for what is to come, you have to think 2 steps ahead and prepare For all scenarios before submitting that application. Good day! Am New on this Canada PR forum, pis i have a question to ask, must my partner writes the English language exams even though my CRS score can cover the both of us? I studied French as a course in uni, so l will be writing the TEF, I'm in my 20s. Secondly my partners bachelor degree is kind of difficult to evaluate cause he finished from a university in Benin republic.Do I have to evaluate his qualifications as well? Pls I want to know, if all this is mandatory? Thanks for your response in advance. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by MayorOfEdmonton: 8:11pm On Mar 10 |
Aduke007:The answer to both questions is No. There’s is no requirement and no documents will be required I believe. The only consequence is you’d get 0 on ‘spouse factor’. But with more than enough CRS points for French category, it’s inconsequential. Cheers

Going about accusing total strangers of grievous crimes might be manifestations of significant underlying pathology, if this is some kind of twisted joke you're the only participant it should stop! If you have evidence of any previous interaction between us before you started unfortunately derailing these threads pls present it openly, let me reiterate I am not Stephen neither do I have any knowledge or familiarity with this oddity manifesting as an individual, This wretchedness must stop this instant ! A Gentlelord:CELPIP is done in Nigeria due to excessive examination malpractice according to word around the grapevine, my spouse got this notification back in February. Every exam scheduled in every other center in Nigeria was cancelled and rescheduled to Dragnet in Victoria Island. They are not allowing new registrations at this time. Consider registering another English language test.
