A Lagos commuter has gone viral online after repeatedly speaking out about the shortage of BRT buses in the state.

The woman first gained attention after posting a video complaining about the difficulty many residents face while trying to get transportation in Lagos.

In the clip, she talked about the long queues at bus stops and urged the government to provide more buses for commuters.

Her video quickly spread across social media, with many Nigerians saying they could relate to the daily struggle of waiting for buses.

In another video recorded on a different day, the woman again showed a massive queue of passengers waiting to board a bus. While many people agreed with her complaints, not everyone was comfortable with her recording the situation.

A separate clip later surfaced showing passengers inside a bus warning her to stop filming.

In another incident that has also gone viral, a woman confronted her aggressively and attempted to stop her from recording, even trying to collect her phone and aggressively harrased her.

You have a right to make a video and people have a right to reject appearing in your video, especially as one of your goals is likely monetization.

I have seen this BRT buses carrying passengers standing with all the seats filled up

Lagos is overcrowded by every Tom, Dick and Harry. All the effort of the state govt are not been felt because of the choking emigrants. Let this lady go back to her village and other emigrants like her so that the true Lagosians can enjoy their city in peace.

Nigerians love this dysfunctional society they are living in and would even fight you for trying to make a change. I have made peace with this fact.
