From the list here , seems there are 3-4 new additions from the Afro basket team
No. It's the exact same list save for 1 name. Vera Ojenuwa is the only player from the last Afrobasket who isn't on the roster, she was replaced by Rita Igbokwe who is the only new name on the list.

Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by user32(m): 2:21pm On Mar 11
Enjoying my subscription....first quarter 18-12 in favour of Nigeria

Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by lovewins: 2:40pm On Mar 11
This is some atrocious basketball. Terrible shot selection, no effort on rebounding, poor defending.

We have not been that bad. Our shot have just not been falling. Defensively we have been good enough.

Halftime

Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by PDPGuy(op): 2:46pm On Mar 11
Halftime
Nigeria 34-29 Colombia

Good defensive tenacity from our ladies in the last 4.5 minutes of that second quarter. Need to improve shot selection and shooting accuracy in the second half
Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by BascoVanVeli(m): 3:09pm On Mar 11
Easy money 🤑
Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by PDPGuy(op): 3:09pm On Mar 11
Best quarter so far from D’Tigress!💪🏾

Well, judging just by the opposition, we have. This game on paper should be a blowout and Columbia literally disrupted our play the entire first half. The quality of opposition particularly at the world cup will be significantly different so I'll rather be a big critic now hoping that the necessary adjustments will be made for us to have a great showing at the world cup.
Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by PDPGuy(op): 3:19pm On Mar 11
We now have our largest lead against a non- African team (22 point lead)
Re: Nigeria Basketball Thread! by PDPGuy(op): 3:27pm On Mar 11
Nigeria with a new biggest lead against a non-African team - 29 points🤯🤯🤯🤩

Colombia is trying to make a world cup so u can't expect them to roll over easily. Then our ladies are playing their first game together since AfroBasket. It was always going to be a tough start
