Let the people in your constituency determine your faith we are not in your area and those people are the one's that knows you, your attitude and the type of person that you are don't come and sell yourself to us and after the people have rejected you maybe due to your attitude or way of life the people here will be saying they are not allowing youths |

eteebanky1:My brother, thanks for your honest opinion. But it’s not a must for someone to contest under APC before he can serve the people. APC will definitely present their own candidate for the position. If everybody must only run under one party, then gradually Nigeria will become a one-party state, and that will not be good for our democracy. Elections are not only about money or incumbency. With positive support, even if it’s just telling somebody to tell somebody, people will get to know me and support the movement. I know Nairalanders have influence and can make things happen. I just need your positive support. |

Bluntemperor:Thank you very much sir, I really appreciate your kind words and support. You are right, anyone that people give the opportunity must keep to his promise and also be ready to answer to the people. Four years is not too long ooo ,so the work must speak for itself. The truth is that if we want change, we must take charge ourselves. And for us to take charge, we must support one another. We should not keep waiting for tomorrow. We are the leaders of today, not tomorrow. I truly appreciate your encouragement. 🙏 |

My local government........I'm from Totoro Owu Abeokuta. I dey with you ]Good evening Nairalanders. My name is Hon. Ogunfeyitimi Tope Joshua, an educator, innovator, and social reform advocate from Abeokuta North. I believe leadership should not only be about speeches but about practical actions that improve the lives of our people. I am preparing to serve my people in the Ogun State House of Assembly representing Abeokuta North, and I want to engage openly with Nigerians, especially those who understand the realities of grassroots communities. Abeokuta North has enormous potential in education, agriculture, youth development, technology, and local enterprise, yet many opportunities remain untapped. Through community-driven initiatives like PAIN, ( POVERTY ALLEVIATION IN NIGERIA) I have continued to advocate for youth empowerment, civic responsibility, and sustainable development. I am using this thread to: • Listen to ideas from Nigerians • Discuss practical development strategies for Abeokuta North • Connect with Nairalanders who have ties to the constituency • Encourage political awareness and responsible participation If you have connections to Abeokuta North or Ogun State, your insight and support will be valuable. Together, we can build a stronger and more progressive Abeokuta North. #TheNewGenerationVoice9[/quote] |

SpencerForbes:Thank you for your honest comment, I understand your concern. But please understand that sometimes I use tools to help arrange my thoughts properly, especially when replying to many people online. The ideas and intentions are still my own, and the vision I’m sharing for Abeokuta North is genuine. What matters most is the commitment to serve the people well. I also believe the youth must step forward and lead with sincerity, new ideas, and accountability. That is exactly what I stand for. I appreciate your concern and I’m always open to real discussions. |

PACIONS:First off, we need to see a proper manifesto before we can start mobilizing. You’d be surprised how much reach we can generate just by word-of-mouth and social media recommendations. Also we don't want a situation like what happens back in my village, where a candidate gets all the support, only to switch off his phone and disappear to Abuja the moment he wins. |

PACIONS:Did you notice the error in your poster even? Your own family or surname wasn't correctly spelt. OGUNFEYITMI ? Are you from Benin ? Ogunfeyitimi I think is the correct name. How well do you pay attention to details? |

@Pacions, Why not give us a brief rundown of your pre-NGO involvements like school or craft, what's your current role(s) in either paid employment or self employment, achievements and met targets and expectations in the past etc, we don't just want what you plan to do. Past accomplishments before manifesto of future plan(s) ![]() |

youngrichnigga:Thank you for the question. I believe it is good for people to know what someone has done before talking about future plans. My background is in teaching, farming and youth development. I currently work as the Director of Vocational Studies at Ultimate Landmark Schools in Abeokuta. In this role, I encourage young people to learn practical skills, not just classroom theory. I always tell students that skills can help them stand on their own and succeed in life. Apart from teaching, I am also a farmer and a real agriculturist. I believe agriculture is one of the strongest ways to create jobs and fight poverty. Through our Triple A and T idea (Awareness, Action, Accountability and Technology), my team helped develop an integrated farm project in Owo, where we combined farming with practical training so people can learn agriculture and also produce food. Since 2020, I have also been working on a project called PAIN, which means Poverty Alleviation In Nigeria, The goal is to create opportunities and help reduce poverty. As part of that vision, we introduced PAC Coin, a digital project connected to the Ethereum blockchain. I am also a co-founder of Life Solutions Network, platform where we share ideas and opportunities that can help people improve their lives. All these things I have been doing are about helping people grow, learn skills and create opportunities. That same spirit is what I want to bring into public service for the people of Abeokuta North. |

PACIONS:Very well and thanks for answering my questions about your past and things you have done, I have some other questions that I don't want to ask here or I see as unnecessary at the moment but I might ask in future but one other critical one is that your NL account is a new one barely 3 months and I was wondering if you had a former or discontinued moniker |
| Re: Nairaland Member Declares To Contest Abeokuta North Ogun Assembly Seat by PACIONS(op): 9:06pm On Mar 11 |
youngrichnigga:Thank you for your question and for taking the time to ask about my background. Yes, I have had Nairaland accounts in the past. I lost access to them, which is why this current account is new. My earlier username was @topyhanky, which I created around 2016. Later, I also used another account @safeopportunity, which I created around 2020. Earlier in this thread, I already shared the links to those old accounts to show my past activities. I would prefer not to repost the links again because repeated links can sometimes lead to a ban or restriction on Nairaland. Thank you for your understanding, and I appreciate your interest in the discussion. If you have more questions later, I will be happy to answer them |

AfroRemoteJobs:My brother, thank you very much for this strong support. I really appreciate it. We have been working together for a long time through the PAIN Project (Poverty Alleviation In Nigeria)and also as fellow Geocologists, so you understand the vision very well. The idea of bringing Entertainment, Agriculture and Technology (EAT) to the grassroots is very important, especially now that many young people need real work and real opportunities. Let us continue this journey together. Stay by me as always, just like we have always worked together in the PAIN Project. With unity and commitment we can help many young people and make real change. Thank you my brother. |

Oga ,online campaign no dey work for naija ooooo. Majority of those talking online won't vote on election day. Secondly, your party is relatively unknown which means you will have to work harder and spend more than already established parties . Thirdly, you will need to start earlier than others and do massive massive grassroot campaign and know this ,the chances of you winning is very slim . But winning shouldn't be your priority now BUT RATHER MAKING A BIG STATEMENT AND ENTRY INTO MAINSTREAM POLITICS . |
