1. When you have verified that someone genuinely loves you, don't break that person's heart. Choose death rather. Or, end the relationship early.

Because not all lovers are weak. Betrayal may trigger their vindictive instinct and they'll come for your jugular like a vampire.

2. Don't bank on promises.

See promises as mere talk. Never abandon your path because someone promised you a brighter future.

3. Have a clear map of what you are doing. Have a plan.

What do you want in life?

Once you answer that question, you'll be able to see all the channels that lead to your destination.

4. Don't care what people will say.

They will mock you. They will ridicule you.

Don't pay attention to their statements. Follow your plan to the end.

5. Seek truth.

If your heart is always in the pursuit of truth, you'll gain knowledge and learn wisdom.

You don't need a preacher or counselor to constantly be on your doorposts advising you.

6. Appreciate beauty.

Stay away from ugliness of any form. Ugliness will always make you dwell on the negative side of life.

Appreciate beautiful nature. Stare at beautiful people and architecture.

7. Be kind.

8. Eye for eye. Tooth for tooth.

Don't allow criminals or sociopaths to go scot-free.

Forgiveness should come after punishment.

9. Learn to see the light in people.

No one is utterly useless.

However, don't pay attention to the unrepentant fool.

10. Learn to provide value.

Value will give you what you want or attract you to the people you admire.

11. Don't beg for food.

Don't beg for money.

Better to die poor and broke than to become a beggar.

Refuse to see begging as your last option.

Your ego should block you from begging.

It is better to do the dirtiest and most dangerous work to put food on your table than beg people.

Begging will hinder you from creating value and achieving freedom.

12. Always be optimistic.

No matter how tragic your travails are, be optimistic that one day you'll overcome.

Pessimism is a joy spoiler. You'll end up corrupting your soul and never see good in yourself or others.

13. Don't be an introvert.

Be part of a community.

No man is an island. Among others, you'll find a solution to some of your problems.

14. Learn to give. Be hesitant to receive.

The giver is always higher than the receiver.

Givers are lords over receivers. Just as it is better to be a lender than a borrower.

15. Dress nice. Smell nice.

Luxury isn't only in the cost. How you wear luxury matters.

Hardly anybody will ask you the cost of your shoes and clothes. So, you don't need to break the bank.

16. Life is a marathon. But it's better to run like a cheetah than walk like a snail.

Resources in life are scarce; first come, first serve.

Make smart moves always.

17. Avoid procrastination.

What needs to be done today should not be carried over to tomorrow. Because tomorrow might be too late.

18. Think in years, not days, weeks, or months.

This will help you know how to calibrate your time and work.

If I continue doing this for 5 years where will I be in the next 5 years?

It's important to curtail your foolishness early.

19. Hope is not a strategy.

Good work is.

Make sure you are doing something meaningful instead of wishing for a pool of Bethsaida miracles.

Those who work have no fear of the future.

20. Value people that value you.

Don't waste time on people who see you as trash. Except you are making money from them. However, dignity is better than the price of labor.

21. Don't just learn a skill.

Learn a skill you can easily leverage before the big success.

22. Humans are cunning and manipulative. Even you.

Learn to understand the game. And learn to protect your integrity.

23. People want you to fail. Because your failure will prove their points against you.

It's more reason you must work hard to prove them wrong.

They are your motivating factor for success, albeit from a contradictory angle.

24. Don't be afraid of failure.

You'll fail. So, allow yourself to fail.

Failure is part of progress. Life circumstances are not linear. It's haphazard and random.

Failure will teach you a good lesson.

Thanks.

@CaveAdullam, I saw your tweet which I totally disagree with, about starting a family with managable wages even if it's joint account with the salary of your wife and building life from there, it's wrong, it's why many youthful men are in trouble today, remember we aren't religious fanatics like our parents generation who left everything to God's hands and thought they were convenantly exempted from the hard times, we have Google, Ai, social media, books, the internet that we can get quality information and research with it, based on our current reality with our existing means we can project into the future and plan with the data, life is tough for a young bachelor managing in these economy staying alone, adding family when one has not attained comfort is going to bring a life of misery and struggling to your family, even in advanced societies they are not marrying and borning again, some fertility rate have declined drastically, we are living in modern times coupled with the fact of the Caliber of women we have to pick as wife's as quality women are scarce that's if we have the means and want to settle down, the data shows inflation would lead to hyperinflation which would lead to revolution or civil war possibly or intense inequality which would skyrocket homicide rates which would worsen the quality of life, that's the projection, as nothing is new under the sun even big nations like US are going to face their own calamity how much more Africa, we are not relying on religion as coping and escapism, remember 2yrs, 5yrs, 7yrs, 10yrs Nigeria and global economy would worsen

I would love you shed more light on these

I agree. You are totally on point.

However, do you think nature gives a Bleep about your poverty?

Who do you think cares about your troubles and challenges? Nobody.

I'd espoused everything on that tweet as far as my knowledge carried me.

Taking yourself out of the gene peel is nature using poverty as natural selection process. There will always be genes for every next generation, and it's bad if yours is not included.

Many men and women lower than us are propagating the earth with both good and bad offsprings. They're nature's channel for multiplying the earth and keep it moving.

There's no guarantee you will become as rich as you desired. You can make wealth today and lose it tomorrow. Nothing is guaranteed. So, rather than leave your life to chances while not take advantage of every opportunity right now?

This is one problem with intelligent or enlightened people: always rationalising instead of taking the shots. Meanwhile, time waits for no one.

We don't have power to change our current situation individually except as a community. But as we await the hands of the community, we won't allow opportunities pass us.

If it's impossible to combine your modest income + that of your spouse to run a family, it's fine. You can ignore it. Those that can do it will do it and replenish the earth.

The fact that you are disadvantaged doesn't mean others can't leverage their current predicament.

Remember: nature doesn't care about your riches or poverty. Only genes for the next generation.

Thanks.

I understand your point about genes not material wealth per say is what nature cares about but we are intelligent beings that's why I love western and Asian societies who are smart, their economy is a thousand times better than Africa but yet because it's not conducive enough as even joint income with both contributing to set up family they choose not to because with every passing generation raising children becomes more and more expensive, the ones that have kids are subsidised educationally via student loans, what am I trying to say, what you would be remembered for is your legacy like an invention, religion, technology, philosophy, that you leave behind, high IQ societies are delaying or not giving into marriage and child birth, raising kids is not child's play, consider their health, educational wellbeing, esteem issue, we are in internet age they would compare themselves with fraudsters and children of elites, again if they are contended and happy with what their parents provide for them they would most likely serve as cheap labour to be further exploited by elites in their company and that thought makes me angry, I slave hard, my son's slave hard, it's not good, that's why white people would kill their genes rather than making their children slave for Elon Musk and Bezos

Your legacy, invention, creation, technology and all still needs a human population to span across decades and centuries. If there are no hands and brains to carry it across generations, you likely spent your years on earth wasting time.

It's biologically foolish to hustle hard and leave your gains to charity not your kids ( charity in the realest word, not as a scheming mechanism to evade taxation.)

Western and Asian societies ignoring childbirth are doing themselves great disadvantage. Anyways, the children of the poor will soon migrate there by all means and take over, then, replenish their whacked genes.

You can't afford to lose at every corners.

Nothing wrong if you decide to opt out of the gene pool. After all, life is meaningless at the end. You won't even know about your gene or wealth when you are dead.

Thanks.
