Iran does not have anything!
They are just relying on possible pressure by international business (shipping) companies and the Arab Gulf states on US to stop the war. Otherwise, once ships change their route and no longer pass through the Strait of Hormuz, what next for Iran?

The Israeli bombs are dropping on Iran through the airspace, and not through the sea, for God's sake!
How would Iran win the war when the country itself is totally battered and they cannot even fly a single warplane over their own territory?

Well, America is around 240 years old. Since its 240 years of existence, it has only been at peace for 16 years. So they've been in some sort of war or conflict for 224 years till today. If you research most wars, conflicts or insurgencies in living memory, they can be traced back to America.

So maybe the world will know peace when the real provocateur has limited or no means to wage wars again.
