A businesswoman, Tracy Ohiri, who recently accused Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, of owing her money has now publicly apologized in a new video that surfaced online.

In the video message, Ohiri explained that after consulting with her legal team, family members, and close friends, she decided it was best to give peace a chance and move on from the controversy.

Exactly! This must be the condition for collecting her money. The money is the most important issue. She cannot fight for the money for 12 years, through threats and arrest, and then apologise without collecting the full amount.

If you have power and money in this country, then you can enjoy the freedom of impunity. I’ve seen a rich young man threaten to kill somebody and when he was accosted, said he would say it anywhere with his full chest. The lady took the threats seriously and left town. Nothing happened.

She did not apologise for claiming Umahi owed her for 12 years, she apologise for saying he came to her hotel in towel. She might even apologise for saying Umahi wanted to sleep with her, but she would never apologise for saying he owned her for 12 years, which is the main issue.

Couldn't she have head to the courts to prove her case in the first place. Has she been paid her monet or not ?. The needs to be penalised for misinformation and aggravated damages and pay compensation to the Minister
