The current battle in Pdp is about 2031 election between North and South Pdp members

The Northerners want to take in charge of the party so that there won't be any outsiders influence in making their choice for president from 2031 while the Southerners like Wike still want to hold on to the party leadership so that they can use it to negotiate the VP position from 2031

Wike is the national leader of the party and he also has the right as a PDP member to suggest that it is more strategic and sensible considering the current political realities for the party to adopt the President in 2027 instead of putting forward a candidate that will 100% lose the election.

APGA has adopted the President as its candidate for 2027. Does that make APGA Tinubu's foot stool? Will APGA not contest other elective position? Is the presidency the only political office that PDP can contest for?

If you love PDP and wants the party to survive, you should support the effort to reconcile the warring factions as that is the only way the party can contest in 2027. So, it is not better to concede the presidency to Wike and be able to contest all other positions than keep fighting and still not be able to put up a candidate for the president and all other elective positions? That is al lose-lose for the party while Wike will still be able to achieve his aim of ensuring PDP has no presidential candidate.

Irrationality is a disease. You want to hold a national convention and several states have not had their congresses to elect those that will attend. You excluded them and went ahead.

A prominent member of the party wanted to collect form to contest for chairmanship but you denied him his membership right. The two groups that I mentioned above went to court to enforce their rights and the two separate courts issued an order stopping the convention. Rather than obey you went to Oyo State High Court to obtain a counter order. The court by law has no jurisdiction over INEC that should recognize your convention.

Bukola Saraki the leader of your reconciliation committee advised that the convention will be a nullity and that formation of a caretaker committee will be more helpful but you refused because of ego and went ahead and had Amala convention.
