A serious government needs to come and put the activities of these NURTW members in check. Especially in the southwest. Their activities are hindering proper investments in the public transportation sector. Lagos state in particular. |

Sheuns:No state in Nigeria has their transport system as organised as Lagos. None. In most of the cities in your region, the last mile transport system has collapsed and has been handed over to tricycles and motorcycles. Some of those NURTW guys you see are police informants. Without them, the state will be like Abuja where one-chance robbery has taken over. Or, the SE where Sienna drivers carry passengers in the mornings and UGM at night. The NURTW is not perfect, can be made better, but they are not the ones dropping you from improving the transport systems in states outside Lagos. |

| Re: Nigerian Industrial Court Orders Baruwa-led Executive To Take Over NURTW Abuja by Sheuns(m): 10:28pm On Mar 12 |
Wickedfact:What’s organized in having okadas plying one ways even on expressways? Danfo buses using almost every stop on the roads as bus stops and parks? There’s nothing organized about public transportation in Lagos state as we have it now. The only times they were organized was during Fashola’s time and also Ambode’s. What we have now is anyhowness as when Tinubu was governor. |

If this was in Lagos, NURTW factions would have started fighting in public over the court's judgement. Let's see them fighting openly in Abuja. |

Sheuns:like seriously.. Nurtw alone is holding down the economic fortunes of the south west.. That union should be strictly for transport operators.. If you not working as a driver or a conductor on a daily basis.. You have no business being in the union.. A bus owner who is not a driver or a conductor has no business been in the union.. We do things upside down in Nigeria.. How can someone sit in the AC, in a office, never drove a vehicle in his life as a transporter and claim to be head of a union. |

This judgement will give some people sleepless night for weeks. Baruwa led faction is gearing towards taken over all NURTW offices nationwide. I pity Arhiyo led exco of Delta State. |
