Bbb007:It was shot down. It then crashed and collided with another refueller which they quickly scrambled to Occupied Palestine for emergency landing as Iraq is now too hot for them. That is two refuellers out of operation at once; one permanently and the other may take weeks or months to fix. Two aircraft involved in the crash are US KC-135 Stratotanker refuelling aircraft. US has about 5 in total in the Middle East; one destroyed completely, another in bad shape and update on the remaining are classified. The US refuelling aircraft always accompany the jets sent to bomb Iran so they can refuel the bomber jets because the distance is much from Occupied Palestine to Iran. Refuelling is required for the jets. Even though Iraq has closed its airspace, the US has no regard for Iraq and fly over Iraq airspace. That was where the Iranians ambushed them. All the 6-man crew are presumably dead. 2 Likes
