A serious government needs to come and put the activities of these NURTW members in check. Especially in the southwest.

Their activities are hindering proper investments in the public transportation sector. Lagos state in particular.
This is tge beginning of their end.

COMRADES, as long as the corrupt court in 2023 also contributed her part in putting us in this mess, I'll never celebrate this verdict
Which court put you and who in mess in 2023 and which mess if I may ask?

In the NURTW context, it seems either Justice E. D. Subilim will personally go to the NURTW offices to enforce his judgement on suit No. NICN/ABJ/203/2025 or maybe the new IG can enforce it, barring that, this judgement is as useless as the k in knife.

udemzyudex:
Lol... Dey play, you think this government gives a hoot about court judgement?

Oluomo go still dey there.

What do you suggest we do to all the notorious agbero terrorising people in Onitsha, upper Iweka and other places in the south east?

No state in Nigeria has their transport system as organised as Lagos. None.

In most of the cities in your region, the last mile transport system has collapsed and has been handed over to tricycles and motorcycles.

Some of those NURTW guys you see are police informants. Without them, the state will be like Abuja where one-chance robbery has taken over. Or, the SE where Sienna drivers carry passengers in the mornings and UGM at night.

The NURTW is not perfect, can be made better, but they are not the ones dropping you from improving the transport systems in states outside Lagos.
So there is no one chance robbery in Lagos? Wonderful.

You need to visit Onitsha, upper Iweka and other areas in the south east to see the menace of those agbero.

The ones in the west only have business with commercial drivers.

But in the SE, even you as a passenger is not spared from their notorious activities.

Baruwa is just wasting his time. It's almost 4 yrs now that the case has continued to linger. They will head to appeal court now and they one will last forever. Bon voyage

There is but very very little cases. Because bus stops are tracking distance and busses are available. But Abuja is opposite. The rate of one chance is disturbing. Imagine them killing a ghanian working in Ghana embassy. By now the fct minister or authorities are supposed to take the issue seriously but it's politics they are playing

Wonderful. This same Lagos am living or another one? Which little cases? It was so bad that even a government owner BRT was used to rape a girl in this Lagos. I don't even want to mention the yellow buses in the mainland. The Lekki Ajah Epe corridor has been a hotbed of so many unreported one chance crime, Ajah under bridge park has become a breeding ground for criminals. Last week they killed a man going to work early in the morning at under bridge there because he dragged phone with them

Pls you people should stop lying ignorantly here.

I'm telling you the rate of one chance I'm Abuja is more than Lagos. Except you don't travel there you won't know how complicated it is. Even in public bus I had a friend drugged and his laptop stolen. He slept off and he's not a careless person. Abuja one chance is Soo brutal they kill nowadays or push you to the road with moving vehicles and the fact that busses are not enough and bus stops are few make people fall victim.

Putting Lagos and organized transport in the same sentence is an oxymoron.

Simply shows you have t really travelled across the country. You should keep quiet on matters like this.
