There’s nothing to be shamed about, read what I wrote earlier, if those who were complaining, were because the lady was filming them without their consent, it is well within their rights.

You must have seen numerous instances where content creators will ask those who didn’t know they were being filmed if they can use it for their content. It’s Nigeria where anything goes so people don’t care, in some other countries, that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen.

So I can assure you that in that video, there could even be more Igbos, Hausa, Calabar, Igala and Ebira than the indigenes themselves. So why turn this to a tribal issue?

You guys no little about privacy even in a public space. Do you know you do not even have the right to talk to a woman you do not know in a public space. To toast a babe you do not know is not a right it is a " PREVILEDGE " . In most societies outside Africa it is every man for himself and the law defends personal space in public spaces. You have no right to record anyone because you do not own them. Let me repeat what I said " you have no right over what you do not own or what you did not buy ". How can you record someone in public ? Does the person know you ? Does the person want to be recorded . All you guys are behaving like that man who got into trouble by recording the security adviser, he even said it in public and got himself into trouble. You guys don't know the Laws of Copyright and ownership and are just talking anyhow.

Just like all those guys who are doing deepfake of babes they know and putting it on the internet, how can you UnCloth your ex-girlfriend and put it online ? How many of those guys have been arrested. Or how about the Russian guy who recorded Ghanaians babes ? He thought I have bought a couple of drinks so I can share the videos. Even if he had not done anything he still cannot record them talk less of placing it on the internet.

This is about the most ridiculous thing I've read in a long time. Confusing recording a person with talking to the person and altering image of the person. Not only that, police are there to arrest people for the govt - people who are breaking the law. Not only has the lady not been arrested, she has been commended by the govt!
Just so you know, even in Africa people have RIGHT to record you in any public space where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy.
As for police, see below, though it may not be so in corrupt or autocratic countries
