All the APC data boys giving excuses for others defectting to APC that their former party was not in order. I want to ask, was NNPP in Kano state in disarray before their governor and lawmakers defected? |

There is a need for a judicial pronouncement on Abaribe’s unique situation. The matter should be taken to court and APGA leadership should be invited to testify if they’ve truly expelled Abaribe from the party. And if the expulsion is confirmed, the court should decide if that’s enough ground to support defection. |
| Re: Abaribe’s ADC Defection Sparks Constitutional Debate by seunmsg(m): 8:23am On Mar 13 |
Kalulu44:Governors can defect without consequences. The losing of seats after defection only applies to lawmakers. Go and read the constitution and stop embarrassing yourself with all these ignorant comments. |

| Re: Abaribe’s ADC Defection Sparks Constitutional Debate by manduwem(m): 9:09am On Mar 13 |
Hmmmm the lacuna of the unforeseen is what is playing out, but i think the courts should be the one to settle it since the explusion aspect wasn't captured in the constitution (yes many may interpret that since the constitution says you are not eligible if you dont have a party...that it also means if you got elected and become party-less you're disqualified. i think this is where the courts come in as the valid interpreters of the law -my opinion entirely). On a lighter note, Senator Karimi Sunday (Kogi West) – (Formerly APC) also defected and his letter was read alongside all others. Is there division in the APC? |

| Re: Abaribe’s ADC Defection Sparks Constitutional Debate by adekolaelect(m): 9:59am On Mar 13 |
kaludestiny10:Stop using your mind to make comments. The Senate stoped him from defecting to APC BCS they claimed he doesn't have justification for that. If they take him without verification you same person will still crying of one party . Why are they all rushing to the APC ? These senator challenged his movement to the APC you are still here saying APC one party palaver. |
