[flash=425,300] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1HUA1rMPB3A&t=88s[/flash] There was a moment when my faith didn’t collapse… but cracked open. Not because I wanted it to. Not because I was trying to walk away from Christianity. But because a question entered my mind that I couldn’t remove. Can an all-loving God and the concept of hell exist in the same reality at the same time? For years I believed the traditional explanation. I preached it. I defended it. I told people that God is love, that hell is justice, and that salvation through Jesus is the rescue mission. But when I started examining the logic of it more carefully, something didn’t add up. If God is truly all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-loving, then hell wasn’t something He discovered. It was something He designed. And that realization forced me to wrestle with questions I had spent years avoiding. In this video, I walk through the reasoning that led me to question the traditional doctrine of hell — not to destroy anyone’s faith, but to ask whether our theology truly holds up under honest examination. This isn’t about attacking belief. It’s about asking a question that many people feel… but rarely say out loud. If you have a thoughtful answer to this question — not the easy answer, but the one that still holds up at 2 a.m. when everything is quiet — I genuinely want to hear it. |

When I was a kid my mom will create lots of fear into me cos she doesn't want me to go astray. It's the same with Hell. God who's omnipotence won't send you to hell. Let me burst your brain, even demon's won't go to hell. Demons and Angels are created from fire which is part of God's body that's why they can't die. In heaven if angels go astray they are warned like 3 times before they are chained and then released after millions of years. It's the same on earth were you go to prison and then released after. An earthly judge won't sentence you to burn. We have the mind of God so it's impossible for God to make you burn in hell for a sin you commited in a finite world and pay the price in an infinite heaven. |

The idea of HELLFIRE was cooked by misinformed churchgoers claiming Christians. Jesus is the first person who came up with the idea of torment but he wasn't talking about a literal place rather he was using symbolic terms. According to God's word death is the worst thing that could happen to man {Genesis 2:17} so the ultimate punishment for sin is death {Romans 6:23} and at death man has fully paid for whatever he committed while he is alive! Romans 6:7 So what did the Bible God say about the idea of tormenting living creatures? Please open your Bible to Jeremiah 7:31 They have built the high places of Topheth in the Valley of Ben Hinnom to burn their sons and daughters in the fire—something I did not command, nor did it enter my mind. Jeremiah 7:31 NIV Do you still think God is the one who is thinking of tormenting living creatures in fire? |

OKOATA:Which God did this to you? Tha Allah of the Mohammedans, who claimed his book was released to those who speak arabic so they could understand his speech, implying even their heaven and hell apply only to those who speak and understand the Arabic language? I ask because the Greek pantheon, the YHWH of the Israelites, and even the Yoruba Deities were also clear enough that the afterlife they each offer applies only to the chosen people. 🥱🥱🥱 2. This is religious storytelling. A judge cannot sentence someone to burn, yet this has been reported to have happened in places like the Middle East. 🥱🥱🥱🥱 |

This is a wholesome take. I mean, it's just not possible for God to create a fire that burns forever just to consume the same people he says he loves. It's just impossible. MaxInDHouse: |

Wiredbugs:They don't understand what the Bible teaches yet they want to teach others. The Hebrew word SHEOL and the Greek word HADES both means GRAVE but GEHENNA is a valley behind the wall of Jerusalem where the Jews in Jesus' day use to dump their refuse and carcasses of animals not bled and criminals as they believe criminals will not be resurrected! Psalms 9:17 So when Jesus referred to GEHENNA as the destination of the faithless and wicked people the Jews listening fully understood what he is saying. Jesus also likens faithless people to the dead even though they are alive {Luke 9:60} so when he used an illustration talking about a rich man and Lazarus his listeners knew how tormented the Pharisees are after seeing Jesus who has proved to be the Christ condemn their attitude {Luke 16:14-15} they are the rich man in his illustration who are feeling torture every day seeing common Jews having God's favor with Jesus! Luke 16:22-25 |

Wiredbugs:Did you not hear that when you despise and reject Love, you would get hate? And did you not read that God loved His angels, but when they despised and abused His Love, He cast them down and prepared the Fire for them? So, if He can do this to angels who are higher better than you how would He not do same to you, since He is Just? So, stop thelooin yourself. God has already Said it and His Word must always be fulfilled and in all these He is still a Loving God, for He First Loved us even when we did not know Him, yet you despised, scorned, rejected His Love and rather abused His Love by doing the things you know He hates. So, you cannot reasonably expect that He would still love you after all your offences. Abused patience turns to fury". Thomas Fuller. "Beware the fury of a patient man" John Dryden. Beware of him that is slow to anger; for when it is long coming, it is the stronger when it comes". Francis Quarles And every reasonable person in the world knows this |

Beware of false teachers because there is hell and there is heaven. Hell is made solely for devil and all who have followed his demonic teachings. Yes, man was created in God's image but that identity has been lost to sinful inclination through disobedience to God's commands. God in his lovely nature has provided a pathway from hellfire through faith and obedience in Christ Jesus. God is just hence he will punish sin and death with eternal hellfire |

| Re: Why Would A Loving God Torture People In Hell Forever? by Christmyhope: 7:42pm On Mar 12 |
MaxInDHouse:After saying everything was good, why did God regret creating man? He even wanted to erase humanity from the surface of the earth until he saved one righteous man, Noah and seven others. Yes, God is love but he does not withhold his wrath towards sin and its agent. He burned soddom and gommarrah to ashes because they were sinful making them an example of what will happen in future to sinners and their father, devil himself. |

Wiredbugs:The greatest sinner ever is God's first human son called Adam {Luke 3:38} his sin is the reason why billions became sinners and liable to sickness, oldage and death. Romans 5:12 So what was the punishment for Adam? God's word says Adam will loose his life and return to dust from which he was created. Genesis 2:17; 3:19 But will Adam still be punished after loosing his life? The Bible answered NO! Why? Because death is the ultimate punishment for sin so at death Adam has fully paid for his error! Romans 6:7, 23 |

Wiredbugs:Is it just a simple disobedience of don't touch my car keys or a simple dishonoring of not washing your clothes? What If that child murders , rapes and steals free your other well behaved children are you going to still love him and call him your own? Are you not going to disown him? and if he touches one of your other children after that are you not going to strike him hotly? It is even said that a good child belongs to the father, so, there is no way that if you are bad, you would not have to be thrown there |

Dtruthspeaker:You see am not surprised when I see someone who is well versed in the scripture and using his knowledge about the scripture to lead others astray. They are the one apostle John in his letter to believers called anti-christ. They are doing the work of their father, the devil himself, who is a liar and deceiver from the beginning. If there is no hellfire for the devil and those who follow his demonish teachings, why did He burn the inhabitants of soddom and gommarrah to ashes making an example of what will happen to sinners at the end of the world? God is just, sin must be punished but in his infinite mercy has given us a new birth and escape route in jesus Christ resurrection and restore humanity to what we were before the fall. My dear friend, do not let anyone take away what you have known and become in Christ Jesus. He is our wisdom, confidence, shield, new heaven because these present heavens and earth are reserved for destruction by fire together with the devil and his followers. Thanks Dtruthspeaker |
| Re: Why Would A Loving God Torture People In Hell Forever? by Christmyhope: 10:07am On Mar 13 |
Wiredbugs:Yes, we are God's creation but we have lost our sonship the moment humanity fell away from God's fold through sin. But because of His love for humanity, he looked out for us through Christ Jesus and called us own through in his Christ Jesus by faith. My brother, the sons and daughters of God are those that are born through faith and obedience in Christ Jesus. Any other sons and daughters apart from Christ Jesus are children of the devil. The final abode of the devil and his children is hell. Please,do not be partaker in devilish nature. In John 8:44, Jesus explicitly tells the Pharisees, "You are of your father the devil," referring to their actions, character, and murderous intent, which mirrored Satan. He identified them as children of the devil because they rejected his message of truth, sought to kill him, and focused on legalism over true righteousness. |

Christmyhope:This shows you don't understand that word "SIN" the greatest sinner must be just one person whose sin is so powerful that it could affect all other humans and that's Adam. A lot of people has perverted God's word so all of them can't be great at the same time nah. ![]() |
| Re: Why Would A Loving God Torture People In Hell Forever? by Christmyhope: 10:32am On Mar 13 |
MaxInDHouse:Adam's sin which brought condemnation and death has been erased on the account of Christ Jesus's death and resurrection. And anyone who continues to deny that Christ Jesus has given humanity victory over hell, sin and death is the greatest sinner even using the scriptures falsely to lead people to the devil. When scripture says the devil and his followers will spend their eternity in hell. |

Christmyhope:Don't change the subject: What God promised anyone putting faith in the Christ is everlasting life! John 3:16 The question is if Adam whose sin infected all humans only meant death for Adam then when did God change to make Adam's descendants suffer forever?😟 |
| Re: Why Would A Loving God Torture People In Hell Forever? by Christmyhope: 11:43am On Mar 13 |
MaxInDHouse:Am not changing anything, but it seems to me that you lack basic understanding of the gospel of Christ Jesus. Yes Adam's sin infested all humanity even the present earth and heavens are not exempted and his disobedience brought death to man. God never created man to die but sin perverted God's plan through human free-will. God restored what was perverted in Adam through his free -will in Christ Jesus eternal life. Who has eternal life? The answer is God. Then, God came down in human flesh through Jesus Christ to deal with sin and death. Hence, sin, death, devil and his followers will be destroyed in eternal hellfire( second death). 2 Peter 3:12. As you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. [11] That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. The Sheep and the Goats: In Matthew 25:41-46, Jesus Christ,God in the flesh describes the final judgment where he separates people, commanding those on his left (who failed to follow his commands regarding love and service) to "depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels". The Severity of Disobedience: Jesus uses harsh imagery to describe the seriousness of disobedience, such as "weeping and gnashing of teeth," "outer darkness," and "unquenchable fire". The Necessity of Faith and Action: While salvation is a gift, Jesus correlates loving him with keeping his commandments (John 14:15, 15:10). He teaches that true followers are known by their fruits and obedience to his teachings. However, these warnings are often interpreted as a call to repentance, emphasizing that he offers a way to escape this condemnation through faith and reconciliation. Hellfire is the second and final death in which death caused by sin , devil and his followers will live for eternity. physical death is often viewed as a temporary separation of the soul from the body, serving as a consequence of sin rather than the final, eternal judgment itself. It is considered a "temporal judgment," while the final, irreversible judgment—often described as the "second death"—occurs at the end of time |
