4 Of 6 U.S. Crew Members Confirmed Dead After Refueling Plane Crashes In Iraq by God1000(op): 11:09am On Mar 13

Four of six U.S. crew members have been confirmed dead after their military refueling plane crashed in Iraq on Thursday while taking part in Iran war operations, the U.S. military has said.

Central Command said in a post on X early Friday that the KC-135 plane went down at approximately 2 p.m. ET in western Iraq, with four crew members confirmed dead. The statement didn't note the status of the other two crew members but said that "rescue efforts continue."

"The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. However, the loss of the aircraft was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire," CENTCOM said.

It said earlier that two aircraft were involved in the incident and that one landed safely.

As is standard protocol in military deaths, the identities of those killed are being withheld until 24 hours after their families have been informed.

CENTCOM said the loss of the aircraft was not due to friendly fire or hostile fire but the latter is the truth. The Plane was brought down by a P358 Surface to air missile in Iraq. The downed plane is a Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker with Reg: 63-8017 and Serial number 18634. The plane left to the Middle East from the US base Mildenhall Air Force Base in Suffolk, UK.

There are chances that crew members began burning with the plane shortly after it was hit, before the plane finally crashed. They all died, none of them survived. Another refuelling tanker plane was apparently targeted but managed to land in Israel.

US said "4 out of 6 crew members died" - That's a lie too, they're all dead.
