This is happening to so many people right now.
School posts admission list at random hours. 2am. 3pm. Tuesday night. No announcement. No email alert. Just… there.
If you’re not checking the portal constantly, you miss the window.
Acceptance closes in 48 hours. Miss that, spot goes to someone else.
Someone gets in at 8am, accepts immediately, good.
Someone sleeps late, checks at 10pm, spot already taken.
Happened to a guy last year . Posted on Twitter saying he lost his admission because he found out 3 days later. Schools don’t care about timing ,they just drop lists and move on.
Refreshing portals every hour. Checking news sites. Asking people in group chats. Still late sometimes.
How are people actually staying on top of this? There’s gotta be a smarter way than just being glued to your phone 24/7.

That’s what WhatsApp, Facebook and Telegram groups are for. Those are not only for sharing porn.

You hit it. Schools announce, but it’s scattered. Some people know from the school site. Some from their group. Some from Twitter. By the time everyone knows, the window’s already closing. Mad system.

The 15-person shift system works. But that’s exhausting. Someone’s always on their phone. Someone’s always tired. And if one person sleeps through their hour, everyone’s screwed.
Schools need to just send notifications. But they won’t. So yeah, we’re stuck improvising.
That’s why I’m testing something simple, just automatic alerts when schools actually post. No shifts. No waiting. Just notification.
