Who told you the closure of the Strait of Hormuz wont affect the US, the entire western economy will feel the heat, the US will make money in revenue, but inflation will go up across board all over the world. Which if prolonged will lead to a global recession. Chinese ships will be allowed across the Strait. US and Isreali Ships are not allowed, and will pay the price.
