The United States Department of State announced on Friday that it is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information about Mojtaba Khamenei and several other Iranian officials. The offer is part of efforts by the United States to gather intelligence on individuals it believes are connected to international terrorism activities.

Among the officials mentioned on the list are Eskandar Momeni, who serves as Iran's Interior Minister, and Esmail Khatib, the country's Minister of Intelligence and Security. In total, 10 individuals were identified by the US government as persons of interest.

According to the State Department, these individuals are believed to lead or coordinate operations within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The US government claims that the IRGC plans and carries out activities that support terrorism in different parts of the world.

Officials also encouraged anyone with useful information to send it securely through anonymous communication channels such as the Tor browser or the Signal messaging app. The State Department said people who provide helpful information could receive financial rewards and may also qualify for relocation for their safety.

The reward is part of the US government's Rewards for Justice program, a long-running initiative designed to collect intelligence about individuals involved in terrorism. The program offers money to people who provide information that leads to the capture, arrest, or prosecution of wanted suspects.

Mojtaba Khamenei is the son of Ali Khamenei. Reports say that Ali Khamenei died in a bombing on February 28, during the early days of the conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran. His death marked a major turning point in the tensions surrounding the ongoing war.
