Much as i appreciate this testimony, I am really angry that none of the parents have deemed it fit to sue the school for such recklessness!
On a bad day,all the students would have perished and become victims of yet another collapsed building!
By the time the school authorities are sued and made to pay hefty fines and compensation for ignoring safety laws and resorting to substandard buildings, the rest will learn to do things right

To God be all the glory for the safety of all the students and other occupants of the building

Nigerian leadership is so useless and unproactive. No Quality Control of building materials.

The standard of blocks in the Nigerian market is the poorest in Africa becauseof greed.

You go to buy blocks and the sellers will be warning you. Carry it with care o.
Carry wetin with care. E be egg?

One even told me to leave it, his boys will Carry them into the vehicle for me. Just imagine.

I have lived in at least Four African countries and no building collapsing News I have heard in all the years.

A bag of cement has a certain expert recommended numbers of blocks it should be used to produced.

Block makers in Nigeria will double it because of greed.
In Cotonou, you will see guys throwing blocks on the ground from trucks and none of the block will brake.

On a lighter mood,
Years back when life's toll was dealing with me. I don waka a long distance so, I was tired and decided to rest at a block industry. The workers were discussing and arguing about Naija problems under a shelter and not far from them was their truck.
Beside their supply truck, I found a set of blocks so I decided to sit there for a while before I continued my journey. The truck shielding me from them.
I sat on one of the blocks and I met myself on the ground. grin
The guys were busy arguing, and no passers-by saw me. Na so I pick myself up and resume my journey fast fast before the guys go hold me. Cause shishi no dey my pocket. grin

Just imagine. Building blocks you cant sit comfortably on.

That kind of sudden collapse and no single mortality. Somebody in that school must be very dear to God.
That School Was Built On A Very Solid Spiritual Foundation.
There Is A Presence In That School Of Someone Very Very a much Loved By God.

Watch the video and see how fast it took for the entire building to come down. On a school day. And no single person died.
I watched the video of when the students were hurriedly evacuating the school before the collapse

My secondary school also collapsed some years ago. The issue is they play the schools to be one story in the beginning. But as the school expands they add more floors meanwhile the foundation was meant for one story
This is very true.

The foundation of that building may be for a storey building but greed will always make them to add more floors without strong reinforcements.
Thank GOD no life was lost
Exactly. That's what also happened with the Synagogue church building collapse.

If they are very dear to God why would they hustle for money to pay private school fees because their governors steal money that should employ teachers for the free education of all children?

27 years of city boy's master plan, did Tinubu, Fashola, Ambode and Sanwo Olu employ up to 19,500 teachers?
That is the number employed by PDP's progressive governor in Oyo state- Makinde.

Why are you not proud to talk about your region. hope you saw that poultry house, Otti called smart school in 2026. backward ambassadors. yes, Lagos hasn't reach it's potentials but those you have measured has been able to set standard in some areas individually and collectively that even your state government has copied. Lagos introduced BRT in Nigeria. can you tell us what your state governor's since 1999 they introduced and was replicated by even a governor from another state. today many state governor's have now be creating free trade zone and that is due to Tinubu's foresight. Lagos state has actually scored a lot of first in many sector.

It was an elderly man in the neighborhood who put pressure on the school that saved the day. The building was already showing signs of dilapidation

Lagos State is in a big mess of a sh.ithole.
Not even the overrated fashola aka minister of darkness could do anything.
All he did with those that came after him was to steal.
Now see the Lagos tinubu is proud to say he built..

Every institution should have a fire alarm in case of emergency and drills carried out intermittently. If the alarm rang out, the children would have known there was danger on time. Thank God they are safe.
