I've said it repeatedly that both PDP and ADC are not good at opposition politics.

In 2003, Tinubu was the only Gov of AD. There was nothing Obasanjo didn't do like withholding of Lagos LG allocation to force him to defect to PDP, he refused.

Tinubu concentrated on building the Party. He formed AC and he remained the only Gov. Later to ACN and coalition with others to form APC. It takes patience and resilience and that's what is lacking in our political actors today.

PDP is not good at opposition politics except to be the ruling party and that's why you see its cash up criticism bcoz APC is always ahead of them.

PDP still had the grassroots structure more than any other opposition party in Nigeria. They will even do far better than ADC in state and legislative elections.

This is the time for them to quit being emotional and be pragmatic. Settle with Wike and salvage whatever can be salvaged or keep fighting him and lose everything. Shouldn’t be a difficult decision to make.

Well said, but honestly PDP crashed exactly the way it was formed in 1998. No ideology and most members were military retirees. They started fighting from day one, several senate president and speakers, no planing or solid agreement. PDP was taken to intensive care unit the day OBJ tore his membership card openly. Since then leaders and founding fathers started leaving the party.

APC is very lucky to have the kind of his national leader ( Tinubu), otherwise left for Buhari, the party would have been on fire by now.

Wike is the only hope of PDP coming back to life being a member since 1999 till date.

He will reconcile with the Wike faction to be able to present a successor in the PDP. Going to the ADC will not save his candidate, it will give Wike's faction the chance to present a candidate, which will split the votes with the ADC. The Accord candidate is a former PDP member and is very popular. The old PDP votes will be shared among Accord, ADC, and the Wike PDP faction, and they expect to win against the APC? U are not getting it bro, APC was able to convince the likes of saraki, tambuwa, Amachi, okorocha, and others through negotiations in 2014, if truly ADC is serious by now all the PDP governors that decamp to APC would have gone to ADC.
2027 will be the most easy election in the history of Nigeria, Atiku didn't command followership like Buhari did in the north, Amachi didn't have political base and they will not want Obi because of Obident movement.
