Greetings everyone. My TCL smart TV seems to be having screen issues. The screen suddenly goes off , when I put it off and turn it on again, it goes off again after some time. I bought this 50 inches TV from Jamara in June 2023. I have called them to report the issue , but theybare saying they don't handle TCL TV anymore that I should take it to SIMs Nigeria. SIMs Nigeria is saying they don't handle TV sold by Jamara. It's getting frustrating as I don't know what to do with it again. You all know how expensive TVs are now 1 Like

Change the power supply no let them touch your screen ohh to avoid replacing it with another one 2 Likes |

Alaye,I dd this same mistake when I got an original hisense led telly since 2022. By 2025 the power module started acting up,telly will come off,come on....they said its the white board,30k,power switch repair,bla bla bla. I paid,it took the scammer another 2 weeks b4 called me.by the time we tested it,no station no light to test cable or dvd,just on change channels,I happy. When I got home and coupled it with my decoder,I started seeing double images...like an object or the person. You are watching will be double ,the dstv station info bar/ icon go dey there permanent, it won't exit,despite exiting it on the decoder..I had to sell it at a loss cos I no pay anyone again. Someone eventually paid me 50k for it.i lost about 100k on it.e pain me alaye just sell am. Go buy LG direct from warehouse.not roadside Do not repair. Engineers are like mechanics,they out there to kill everything. Pls sell and buy another one. E don try. 1 Like |

Bro, don't carry it any where for now!!! Mine (49) inches did the same ; going off and on.... I met a technician and he suggested the picture board. My dear , I tried everything, google and finally one day , I decided to format the TV; wipe the original settings, pictures , videos and downloaded apps and the problem stopped till today. 5 Likes |

If na repair you wan do I’ll advise you, you can’t repair anything successfully in Nigeria, they will make it worse after you have spent money on top 1 Like |

Update on the TV . I stopped connections to my sound system and it doesn't go off anymore . Glad i don't have to spend 1m+ on TV in this economy...... |
