On the one hand, it's suspicious (why should wike be building house for judges...a better way would be for the judges themselves to apply for a loan for housing via FHA or any other bank)...on the other hand, why should judges live in not so quality housing because 'independence'...in a way it might even make them vulnerable to bribes self .

At a point in time, these judges would have to be provided with accomodations ( not just any accommodation but befitting ones) that would outlive the present administration.

The Executive arm of government is entitled to decent accomodations, so also is the Legislature.

Why then must the Judiciary be made to live under the bridges of Abuja like almajiris?

Wike and Tinubu have done what successive governments have failed to do.

Successive governments would have to concentrate on other areas requiring attention.

FCTA built the Aso Villa where you president stays, they built the national assembly, built the VPs residence, they provide accomodations for house of Assembly members too.

First of all, according to our constitution, it is the duty of NJC to see to the welfare of judges and not the FCT. see s153 and part 1 3rd schedule of the constitution
Secondly, the Aso Villa was built under a military govt which does things not based on procedure but whims and more importantly, it was the National Assembly Commission under Abdulsalami Abubakar that built Apo legislative quarters not the FCT ministry
The FCT ministry does not provide accommodation to NASS members as at today in Nigeria. Most of the Apo legislative quarters have been sold. NASS members arrange their own accommodation and are reimbursed by the NASC.
I had to make this clarification to debunk your falsehood since you claimed it was based on education. I suggest you go and get a proper one cause bad education is as dangerous as terrorism to a society

Please come back and quickly tell us whi manages the NASS complex, the ASO Villa and the judicial infrastructures.

Tell me one court house that has been built buy the judiciary.....

This government just wasted money subsidizing education on empty heads.

The NASS complex is under the management of the FCTA so also the Villa and court houses, just as the state governments around the country takes care of the judicial infrastructures in the states.
Or do you know of any state in Nigeria where a court house was built by the judiciary and not the state government?
