Conceding the ticket to Wike doesn’t mean Wike will be the presidential candidate of the party. Not at all. Wike simply wants PDP to endorse Tinubu in 2027 and Makinde is against that. Once PDP concede to Wike’s request, everything will be fine. The party can contest and still win other positions. Wike can then build on whatever is left after the 2027 general elections.

You should rather weep for what democracy has turned into under the so-called "fighters of democracy". The governors are decamping but are the electorates decamping? Where is the jubilation in the streets? APC is only using the coerced defections to justify the rigging they have intended to perpetuate as a sign if their popularity but an unpleasant surprise awaits them.

U are not getting it bro, APC was able to convince the likes of saraki, tambuwa, Amachi, okorocha, and others through negotiations in 2014, if truly ADC is serious by now all the PDP governors that decamp to APC would have gone to ADC.
2027 will be the most easy election in the history of Nigeria, Atiku didn't command followership like Buhari did in the north, Amachi didn't have political base and they will not want Obi because of Obident movement.

Where are Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan in all of this? They are the most senior members of the party and should be the one to save the party from untimely death, but Tinubu has retired them all as advised in the 48 Laws of Power;

PDP has only one option left for survival; adopt Wike as the National Leader and agree to whatever terms he wants. Concede the presidency to him and put up candidates in all other elective positions. PDP still has the grassroots structure more than any other opposition party in Nigeria. They will even do far better than ADC in state and legislative elections.

This is the time for them to quit being emotional and be pragmatic. Settle with Wike and salvage whatever can be salvaged or keep fighting him and lose everything. Shouldn’t be a difficult decision to make.
