This is not an achievement.
One trillion to USD is 725m$.
If company that are worth this is only 24 in Nigeria, then Nigeria is doomed.
Companies LISTED. There are companies that are not listed and are worth more than this. There are so many oil and gas, banks, manufacturing and service companies that are worth more than this.

Is Dangote refinery on the list?

Not much of a success.

first a minority of the industries are manufacturing industries. None of them actively exports or earns much in exporting. None of them makes electronics, vehicles, heavy industrial products , energy industry machinery, even batteries and so forth.

One trillion naira is just 700 million dollars. That's not much

The above list shows how much we have failed as a nation that we do not have the kind of industries and companies that actually solve problems. We just dey full ourselves

APC has failed abeg
Na APC go build companies? Ask importers like Peter Obi and his cronies how they destroyed local manufacturing with cheap imports. Now all industrial buildings in Ikeja are just empty of used as church buildings.

Is Nigeria’s economy outperforming its politics, or is the new political landscape driving this growth? 🇳🇬
While the APC has officially secured 100% control across the South-South, North-Central, and North-West zones as of March 2026, the Nigeria Exchange (NGX) is telling an even bigger story. We now have 24 companies worth over N1 Trillion. From Airtel Africa leading at N23.6trn to Wema Bank joining the "Trillionaire Club," the corporate landscape is shifting fast.
With the map turning blue (APC) and the stock market turning green, where do you see the most opportunity for Nigeria in 2026? 👇

Market valuation is not static and can increase or decrease based on the share price as determined by market sentiments.
About 2 years ago, people were shouting and making about Oando when its market valuation hit N1rillion because of the high share price. Today, the share price has reduced and Oando's market value is lower than N1tr

This is all semantics by the way. Just like saying Zimbabwean companies are septilion Zimbabwean dollar companies.

Explain how devaluation has impacted their values. Do they buy and sell in dollars, No. Maybe some assets in dollars. Still they have to import inputs in devalued Naira (1,350 vs 700 3 years ago) which increases their costs.

Accept that these companies are witnessing real growth due to the deregulation of the economy by this government. More investors are therefore buying Nigerian stock markets thereby increasing their value. This is the simple explanation

Keep pretending that you do not know how inflation affects the value of a currency. Emilokan economics.

What is the worth in dollar?

If I kept $1500 in my account before tinubu govt which was around 700k then
From tinubu presidency, that money became 2m plus without doing anything.
I suddenly became a millionaire in naira over night 🤣🤣
Please stop all these propaganda
No magic happened, naira just lost value.

Even in $ value the Nigerian stock market has grown tremendously. In 2022 it was valued at $50b (based on the subsidized and corrupted rate of 450)

Today the value is $90b based on market driven rate of 1,350. More investors have confidence in the Nigerian market and buying up the stock.

You guys are sleeping on the Nigerian market due to hatred for Tinubu. Foreign investors see a dynamic market with huge upside growth and putting their money in it

This is another bad news for the haters of Nigeria.

They are immune to good news.

Only bad news gives them the kick.

Building a country from a near total economic collapse isn't a tea party.

It requires a gradual, painstaking and rigorous process in order to get back on track.

However, Tinubu must continue to formulate policies to make life relatively easy on the people.

On the epileptic supply of electricity across the country, he must confront the monster head-on in order to positively affect the economic and social life of the people.

Just a little positive impact on the lives of Nigerians and everything would turn into praise for him and the APC.

Nigeria can only get better!

In May 2023, approximately 12 companies on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) had a market capitalization exceeding ₦460 billion ($1Billion)

As of March 2026, there are 21 companies on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) with a market capitalization exceeding ₦1.4 trillion ($1 Billion).

Make of this what you will.

More awareness and more people pumping money into the financial markets/ companies especially being an avenue for people who do not have jobs again, or underemployed, retirees( including sacked persons paid gratuities) pumping in their life savings hoping to earn interests.

With commercial papers being sold( apart from other means), these companies earn more and become mega in financial worth.
