Does Sowore understand that the judiciary is a coequal arm of government? While the heads of the executive and legislature live in official mansions, head of the judiciary should live in 1 room apartments?

I don't know why powerful judges will allow ordinary politicians use them up and down. Why should a politician building judges residential houses be appreciated with winning cases? Did he use his personal money to do it?

You dont know Sowore,if you know him,you wouldn't have made that statement.If he had wanted an appointment from Tinubu,he could easily have gotten it. We know his antecedents,right from his Aluta days in the university,he is naturally recalcitrant.Including his battle with the military junta and tyrannical governments.
I'm not suggesting he is a saint but I am only telling you for sure that Tinubu would gladly have given him an appointment,considering Tinubu's modus operandi with opposition critics.

The judiciary is an understatement arm of government are you aware of that? Independent now depending on the executive arm means just one thing which is obeying the executive and that's dangerous to the judiciary.

Not really a fan of Sowore, but he is spot on with this.
This wike's act is nothing but a greek gift, make we no sugar coat it or defend nonsense.
The judiciary is supposed to be independent, and acts like this is pure conflict of interest if you really have conscience.
If he previously had access to their bedrooms, now he can enter their toilet 🚽 and sh*t and tell the judges to come and flush it.

It's unethical the way this estate is been brandished. If the govt had no ulterior motive they'd have approved the project under the national judicial council which is the financially autonomous entity that oversees the judiciary. Same thing happens in state govt where SUVs are given to judges in public glare. This democracy na just for mouth. There's no separation of powers and it's not the government of the people because the LGs have been denied their constitutional roles

Nigeria need to get serious with the independence of the judiciary.
It's not every sector u corrupt.
We need to stop saying it's Nigeria and allow terrible things like this, slide.
If true that Wike built houses for those judges, shame on them and Wike needs to be condemned in the strongest of term

But isn't it surprising that Wike never rewards teachers, doctors or other civil servants apart from judges - both during his time as governor and now as minister?
During his time as governor, Wike refused to pay pensioners their entitlements, and those elderly citizens died in droves from treatable illnesses. Yet he built mansions for judges in Rivers State and bought them choice cars!

I really never understood the idea of the executive branch buying cars and giving out houses to judges...

To avoid conflicts of interest, accusation of "bribery" etc.. they shouldnt be doing that..

What happened to minister of justice? Or NJC? They are the ones that are supposed to be looking after the affairs of the judges under them and advocating for their rights/welfare!!
