I have initiated withdrawal from zenith assets management this night....

I do not know how long it would take... but at least I have finally taken the bold step

I have gotten the redemption acknowledgement mail...i will keep checking my email... for further action...

Me thinks the delays people complain about might be liquidity related....I raised that concern about their ESG... and I think someone here responded in reassuring manner....

My capital is incomplete, it never recovered.. and I am ready to count my losses and move on.......I would have left this money with them.... but the complains of delayed withdrawal is annoying me....I do not wish to keep my money with FM that would give me headache when I want out...

Meanwhile....I dreaded this moment, but I had to do this.....so I could get a place in the "waiting queue" already....

Who knows....it might take the whole year to redeem...my only consolation this night is that at least....I have started the process...

Never will I experiment with more than 5k again...

Good riddance to bad rubbish

Good night guys

Ordinarily, I am not someone who campaigns against any person or business. However, remaining silent in the face of injustice, poor practices, or lack of transparency goes against my values and what I stand for.

The issue here is not only about withdrawals but also the time it takes for deposits to reflect. How do you explain a situation where it takes up to a week for a deposit to reflect, especially during a bullish market, and by the time the funds are finally credited, the market has turned bearish? This is something I personally experienced with my last deposit with them.

My comments are not driven by any desire to bring anyone or business down. Investment is highly time-sensitive; delays can directly impact returns, and missed timing often comes at a cost.

For context, I have experience with multiple funds: two equity funds, a bond fund (NDIF), and a fixed deposit fund. My withdrawals from all of them were completed within 48 hours. Currently, I also have two active equity funds aside from ESG, where deposits typically reflect within 24 hours.

There is even another fund manager (which I prefer not to name to avoid appearing biased) where I made a deposit around 14:00, and the funds reflected almost immediately. Interestingly, I was credited with interest for that same day by around 16:30 because the market was bullish.

Lastly, Quantum Zenith sent me an email around 16:00 yesterday stating: “The request has been received and is being processed. Redemption is processed within 24-48 working hours.” It seems they may be following the ongoing conversations here.

Good morning ma and everyone.

Paramount topped cardinal stone yesterday. All of them were green still. Sweet
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 4:57am On Mar 17
Yes, chief, huge gain from Paramount yesterday. CS didn't make so much gain due to their weighting on Aradel. The race for the top 3 equity fund managers has started. I can't wait to see who comes out on top at the year-end, excluding CSOF.

It seems cowrywise stock update is not always accurate. They didn't show Aradel's loss yesterday. It was just on zero.

The race between CSOF and Zedcrest is interesting to watch. I wonder who would come out tops. I’m guessing CSOF because i believe they have some hidden tricks. They would be ushering in a new set of billionaires this year for sure. This is one year that above 100% Full year performance is very likely

Between, where can one find the list of stocks in cardinal stone and paramount’s equity fund basket?

It closed at the same price it opened.

I'm trying to see if my foreign stock portfolio can make 90% YTD, as I have the option to build my own portfolio. Rumors are going around that NGX might be transitioning to T-1 in May. I'm in for a roller coaster.

Re: Equity Investment. by BrownsonNseime0(m): 9:05am On Mar 17
Wetin dey happen, Nairalanders?

If you run any business in Lagos or Johannesburg, you know that cash flow is king, but idle cash is a problem. Leaving your money sitting dundun in a zero-interest account means inflation is chopping your purchasing power before you even pay your next supplier.

The big boys like Microsoft manage their funds with precision, prioritizing Principal Protection and high liquidity. In 2026, with central banks watching inflation closely, we must be smart. Think about it as a defensive "sprint" rather than a decadal marathon.

Look into Low-Penalty CDs for guaranteed rates, top-tier High-Yield Savings Accounts, or carefully vetted Short-Term Corporate Bonds. The goal isn’t a massive home run; it's a guaranteed base hit that keeps your capital safe and available for opportunistic needs or sudden liabilities.

Don't let your money sleep. Efficiency is key!

Was it just the online form or the one sent to you via email PDF form you filled out to receive this message?

Anyway, all these worries and emotions about not trying to drag them shouldn't bother you at all. Time is money and there shouldn't be room for doubting your power to drag them( any fund manager) that misbehaves with your hard-earned money.

If they delay my money unnecessarily I will strongly drag them and even report them under Sec by all means. I feel they have the potential as I can attest to that but they are not serious people.

I shall watch my account today and if there is no gain or it remains stagnant ( which has been the case for more than a week now) I shall initiate a withdrawal.

90% would be sweet and a huge wealth accelerator. From my understanding i think T+1 is net positive? It would shorten transaction cycle. It’s currently T+2 or so.
Re: Equity Investment. by Iamblessed8888: 10:04am On Mar 17
At this point, folks trying to withdraw from zenith should consider CCing SEC in a complaint email. Atleast 3 or 4 of such emails from different people should make them sit up.
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 10:19am On Mar 17
They just approved my KYC. I paid now, but it's going to take 2-3 days to reflect in my portfolio due to the exchange rate, as all transactions will be in USD. There is this stock from Korea that I weigh heavily on; it pays 2USD dividend annually due to its investment in Samsung and Hyundai.

The T-1 transition, it will accelerate liquidity and bring in more FDI to the market. However, some blue-chip stocks might get pricey, with more profit-taking and price pullback at some point.

2USD is on the low side though. I think a naija investment may still bring you more returns, hence reason why foreigners come to invest here. As conservative as a 15% MMF rate is, some of my friends abroad think it’s outrageously high. I didn’t even mention 19% o lol.

Diversification is always a winning strategy though. No one knows what next year election will do to the market.

The best time to be in the market is now before the May upgrade
Re: Equity Investment. by Nobody: 11:19am On Mar 17
The 2USD is per unit. Almost 86naira per one unit which is higher than Seplat and Dangcem dividend payout.
