It Is A NIGERIA Problem:
When the Pension Body (PENCON ) Was Created,it was to benefits the Retirees ,who had utilized their Youthful Time and Age -for the Companies but NIGERIA Situations turned the Pension Scheme Against the Workers.
As at today,
1. Most Workers Are worse off because while PENCON body is growing in NTrillions ,the NIGERIAN RETIREES ARE GETTING POORER,on yearly basis.
2 .the Reason is that the Labour Organization - the NLC in Particular- should have insisted in knowing the FORMULAS to Calculate the PENSIONS of All Retirees ,
3- which depends on the Monthly -Take Home Pay of the Workers - the Smaller the Pay,the Smaller their Pensions to be remitted to the Retirees and ,
the Bigger the PENCON -because they Pulled All the Money that is gotten through the PFA- Owners,Which are MOSTLY the Financial Companies like the Banks, Insurance Coy,etc.
4. Hence, the PFAs - will only Remit to the Retirees what the PENCON laws says- which is Very Low- Monthly Pension Dues in the RSA ACCOUNTS OF MANY Retirees- when Calculated and is Nothing in today High INFLATION because Nigeria is having one of the highest Inflation and Highest Interest Rates,so why Would Not Nigerians be Poor?
5 •The National Assembly OVERSIGHT - Senators and the House of Reps-that Should Be Checkmating this Dubious Laws of Poor -Pay to the Millions of Nigerian Retirees -Attached to PFA AND PENCON- Are Doing Nothing about it!
•Afterall, POLITICIANS In Nigeria- Don't Retire
Or Feel the Inflation Problems that Majority of Nigerians Are Facing today!
It Is Just Too Bad For The WORKERS and the Retirees!
