Also, Ede is not the least commercial town in Osun state. I really don't know where you're getting these things from. Ede hosts redeeemers university, Adeleke university, ede poly, and at least 2 other private universities. How many jobs and commercial activities do you think that creates?

Also, Osun state is one of the few states that still practice true grassroots politics. No one living in Osun state will complain about him developing Ede because that's one of the most important questions he'll be asked after he leaves office, "what did you do to improve your hometown?" Akande focused on ila Orangun, Oyinlola focused on Okuku, Aregbesola focused on ilesha, so why should Adeleke not give some priority to Ede?

The problem would have been if he developed Ede and neglected other places which is definitely not the case.

110KM? Am not sure it's up to that because from Lagos (Berger)to Ibadan (Iwo road) is 110km but am not sure this is up to that

A previous government acquiring the land does not mean the people owned the land to begin with. It only means that government has a different approach.

This thing is not affecting one or two people, it's affecting a lot of people. So why not all come together and take the government to court if you're absolutely sure you have legal authority over the land?

Anyways,The 76KM Ogbomosho fapote road. A brand new road and the longest ever done by any administration in Oyo state was constructed by him in Ogbomosho ajilete.

why can't Adeleke construct Iwo - Ibadan? This same Adeleke neglect Gbongan to Akoda junction too. Adeleke only used state resources to construct roads in Ede. Demola Adeleke's defeat is imminent.

when the naira was devalued, point to many things your past governor under Buhari and Jonathan achieved than struggling to pay worker salaries and borrowed to finance few infrastructure they delivered leaving the states in debt. Now that the value is not devalued to your taste, how many times have state workers threaten to embark on strike . Even your governor that didn't perform then now has money without borrowing to finance projects because Tinubu has changed the narrative. Even the governors have praised him many times including opposition governors. You can see how many of them are decamping to Tinubu because they saw great wealth creator. Give honor to whom honor is due. Hold your governor for accountability if you are not seeing positive results in infrastructure development.

You appear to misjudge my stance. I’m not saying that Ede is not part of Osun State or that it does not deserve new roads like other places in Osun State. My point is that considering that Ede is least of the commercial centres of Osun State the resources of the State should not have been so deployed. Single lane roads would have been wiser and a better use of the State resources. Ilesha to Osogbo should have been dualised as it leads to Ilesha the unarguably commercial nerve centre of Osun State. It would link the economy of Osun State seamlessly to the A1 the expressway that leads from Lagos to Abuja. Also, the Iwo-Ibadan Road that has been bad for decades now should have received attention instead considering that it would seamlessly link Osun State economy to that of Oyo State. In all, it is a sad commentary on quality of governance in Osun State. I am not a partisan politician.
