Please, can someone explain to me why Iran is firing missiles into UAE? Cos, i want to believe that the 140 injured are not all close to the US base there.
They claimed because the U.S used their military base in UAE to launch attacks on them, so they are retaliating...

I hate it when people make outrightly false statements with confidence. Look at the bold. That is just the opposite of the law in the the USA. Congress holds the power to declare war, the sole power, the president can only take the actions he has taken where there is an imminent threat and even then, after acting, he has to revert to congress.

What kind of imminent threat against the USA EXISTED? NONE!
What kind of imminent threat in the middle of on-going negotiations?
Now, let's learn,
Under the War Powers Resolution of 1973, the US President has the power to start a war for 2 months (60 days) and extend it by a month (30 days) before involving Congress.
Since WW2, Congress has not declared any war. Not Vietnam, South Korea, not the Gulf War 1 & 2, not Afghanistan, and not in Libya.
Now, who is making the outright false statements with confidence? Some of us know these things.

And everyone knows what happened in places like Korea and Vietnam was illegal.

The War Powers Act does not supersede the constitution. The War Powers Act is a statute meant to regulate the President's use of force; it cannot overrule the Constitution, which remains the ultimate source of Congress's power to declare war. In fact -

1. The President must consult with Congress "in every possible instance" before introducing troops into hostilities.

2. The President must submit a report to Congress within 48 hours of deploying forces.

In the present case, the President himself has called this a war. This in itself is enough to show that his actions are unconstitutional.

PS: Korea was stylishly called a "conflict" and some other cases have been fraudulently called "police action" or something similar.

Oga what's your point here?
At least the US has an excuse for their war with Iran. What is Iran's excuse for trying to crash the global economy and make you poor?
You and I and fighting then I turn around and start hitting everyone around including those sympathetic to me, how am I not a terrorist?

Again, nuclear weapons or not, Iran had this coming. Their first action after their revolution in 1979 was to kidnap 80 US embassy staff. Since then, they have sponsored bombing and killings of US citizens all across the middle east. The US had more than 10 reasons to take them out.
Nnamdipapa:
I honestly don't understand why people support evil. Iranians are hard-working, smart people who have been demonized for years by the US propaganda machines. The same played out in Iraq with the US killing millions of locals and not finding any WMD in Iraq. Today, the US is busy selling the oil in Iraq, they are also reported to have stollen Iraqis gold.

This is 2026, and the greatest threat to world peace is the US and Israel. I have hard evidence of historical facts to back up my claims.

Thank you and well said.

I hope you all remember the Weapons of Mass Destruction hoax that led to the invasion of Iraq (Gulf War 2).
There are necessary wars and there are unnecessary wars. See below, what a very popular secretary of state said about the Iran war. Many others have expressed same sentiment

What are you on about, the global consensus is that this was an unnecessary war of choice.
This is why allies are refusing to join.

Clearly, you don't know what happened in Vietnam. I am against the war in Vietnam just as I am against the war in Iraq. But then all these wars followed the very same process, no congressional approved. And most of them ended up lasting more than 3 months

Yes, the War Powers Act does not supersede the constitution. That's why Congress has the power to end the war after 90 days.

You last point here is just being childish. So if Trump calls it a conflict, he has all powers to continue but once it calls it a war, he loses legitimacy? Let's get serious for once.

Please and please, tell me what you truly believe? That they should be colonized?

Secondly tell me why Israel can have nuclear weapons and Iran cant?

Bear in mind that Iran has subjected itself to nuclear inspections by the IAEA regularly and is a signatory to the Nuclear Non Proliferation Treaty. Israel has done neither, and yet has a nuclear weapons.

So which country is rogue here?

How can I have a gun and insist that my neighbor must have none? Does that make sense to you?

Rice is as dumb as a rock. Why woùld US wants to crush another sovereign country? Have you ever asked?

After Iraqi war, I have zero regards for people like Rice, Colin Powell and Bush. I also have zero regards for any America or British news outlet. I also stopped watching Americas war movies laced with propagandas.

Becsuse Israel does not fund terrorist organizations.
You lie. The big issue durring the negotiations was that Iran would NOT allow UN inspections of its nuclear sites

My point is, you might not agree with the US and Israel in fighting Iran but the greater evil is that of Iran, fighting the rest of us for no reason.
I know my enemies and I don't justify for people trying to kill me

Israel never allowed UN inspectors into their nuclear facilities as well, they also denied the existence of such facilities.
UN is only a lapdog of west and Iran is right to deny UN or any foreign country access to it's country.
Every country should have a nuclear weapon to avoid being billied by the west.

as a resident over 8years here, UAE is safe .. despite what people project, sometimes I see stuffs like this I wonder were they are coming from. UAE is not at war... But quietly handling the situation not to escalate further....Iran sending missiles yes on a daily basis but there's a working system over here. If half of what have been intercepted here happen to in our beloved country... just imagine the impact..
