Rivers born Music icon, Burnaboy with his team on Tuesday visited Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminilayi Fubara at the State Government House in Port Harcourt. Will there be time to design, do procurement, award, construct and complete the road with less than 15 months left for Fubara as governor?

So, any community that doesn't have a celebrity, won't have access to complain to the government they elected. Rivers State has no excuse for lack of infrastructures and amenities in the entire nook and corner of the entire state.
Hope they react to it.

Don't see things in a negative way. It's must not be celebs u might have someone influential maybe in politics or materially.

The fact is one with influence can make doors open easily to him than one who is not known.

Good job African Giants. I think successive Rivers governor should take a cue from Lagos state on what state wide development entails.

Infrastructure allocation should be evenly distributed across the 23 LGA of Rivers state rather than concentrating on the already congested PH city and ObioAkpor.

Andoni LGA, community like Oyorokoto that is in close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean can become the next Lekki-Ajah of Rivers state if not for inept leadership of successive government, only if the community can attract similar large scale investment like FTZ, deepsea port. The community is a very beautiful place to be if not for activities of who-goes-you boys. Other notable communities that can displace Lagos are the island of Bonny in Bonny LGA, Bakana in Degema LGA. Rivers state is so blessed with abundance of untap investment potential but WIKED politicians are the bane holding the state down

The point he’s driving is governance shouldn’t be based on influential persons. It should be fair and for all.

Nigeria is absolutely unbelievable!

A disgrace.

But at least, Fubara didn't travel to UK for vacation like his counterparts.

But even the work burna is doing in the 2 communities came as a result of that girl who was beating by the local gov chairman after she brought the condition of a school to social media. The girl in Lagos also did a video of the struggles people have to go through in her adugbo to enter brt buses, they threatened her, rough handled her but she insisted. Today they have more brt buses.
Na so, if ordinary people speak out, something will come out of it most times. Unless where you have bad people, Eg the CP in Lagos, where people have cried out over the excesses of one akerele, but instead of the cp to act he is shielding the officer. This is the same cp that declared sowore persona non grata in the state, court called it illegal and awarded sowore 30m.

.........................otherwise he would be advocating for Fubara to employ teachers for the free education of all children in Rivers huh

I doubt if he and his on/off godfather have employed up to 19,500 teachers in their 11 years as governor.

This is the number employed by Makinde in just five years.

Instead of doing that, ologogoro, land grabbing Wike is failing to pay teachers while building houses for judges.

The activities of local jobless youths is what is hindering the development of most South-South and South-East states. How would you use your hands to make your own community so unfriendly to tourists, businesses and investors? Warri and Onitsha are Victims of these nonsense(Strong man cities). Yoruba have started it in Lagos and it is just a matter of time. Bigger and better American cities have seen decline so don't even think that Lagos is immune if certain behavior is not contained.

Burnaboy should be ashamed of himself.
He's one of the richest musicians in Africa and drives the most expensive cars in Africa.
Yet, he's going to his governor to fix his village road.

Apparently, his money is only good for buying exotic cars and squandering on loose women in nightclubs.
