Anyway, this ruling isn't favourable at all, the match was goaless before the ugly incident happened.

They should have just fined Senegal or may be punished then severely, but taken the AFCON trophy away from them is unnecessary.

This is so annoying, CAF always doing this kind of thing, how can you just change a final result like that and say it is 3 0 just like that. No clear reason, nothing, just decision from nowhere.

Fans watch, support, spend money, then CAF just decides the result in office, not on the pitch, it is not fair at all.

CAF is a total disgrace to football. It really shows that the bad officiating during the afcon in favour of Morocco was deliberate to handed them the cup which they haven't won in fifty years.

The rule is the rule, keep emotion aside, Senegal guffed by walking off the pitch like they were playing some secondary school competition(Principals Cup), the rule is that if 5 players of the same team are off the pitch the referee will close the match in favour of the other team, in fact the ref should have close the match that day after they walked off the pitch, there shouldn’t have been any continuation because it made mockery of the rules guiding football.

Even though I didn’t like Morocco’s unjust favoritism through out the tournament and I was really routing for Senegal to win but there should be consequences for actions for deterrence .

This is a disgrace! It has never happened before in Africa. The match continued and the Senegalese scored on open play, cleanly. What's going on with CAF?

From the beginning of the tournament, CAF had been overlooking decisions made by referees that favoured Morocco, always dancing to the tune of the Moroccan FA.

When the Moroccans refused to host the AWCON, I knew something wasn't right. This nonsense has to be overturned by CAS or else, it'd create an antecedent for future occurrence to point to.

What happens to the prize money given to Senegal. Are they to return the money?

This will restore some sanity and dignity to African football.
In front of a global audience,a manager forced his players to leave the pitch of play simply because he didn't like a penalty decision against him.
So next time any other country will do the same because they saw how rudderless CAF was with Senegal!
Though it's 2 months 2 late and would dilute whatever glory Morocco gets from winning it on the pitch,but an example must be set,otherwise football will be left for touts and thugs that call themselves players or managers.

That Senegalese coach should be the one to blame. Telling your players to leave the field because the referee's decision didn't favour you was ludicrous. Immediately, i saw that I knew it was big trouble for Senegal.

The coach can be sanctioned but overturning the result months after the Final was played & won is ridiculous.

This was anticipated even before the final match was played. They've been tipped for the gold even before the afcon began, hence the obvious bias of every referee assigned for their matches to justify their host acceptance and huge investment in their stadia.

Simple disagreement with a referee decision is NOT enough.

Walking off the pitch is one of the hardest actions to defend legally.

So, Senegal has lost it. But it is woeful of CAF lacking courage to be fair in officiating.

This is just a disgrace. African football is gradually becoming a laughing stick. Imagine the winner of the champions League being stripped of the title in the boardroom. What a shame.
