The rule is the rule, keep emotion aside, Senegal guffed by walking off the pitch like they were playing some secondary school competition(Principals Cup), the rule is that if 5 players of the same team are off the pitch the referee will close the match in favour of the other team, in fact the ref should have close the match that day after they walked off the pitch, there shouldn’t have been any continuation because it made mockery of the rules guiding football.

Even though I didn’t like Morocco’s unjust favoritism through out the tournament and I was really routing for Senegal to win but there should be consequences for actions for deterrence .

Why didn't the refree declare Morocco the winner when they walked off the pitch....u r started the game Senegal scored and u gave them medal and trophy ..then this

Not a fair one. Besides,the law is the law. A lesser punishment would have been preferable.

You are seeing a very corrupt South Africa man bringing the game of football in Africa to disrepute, you are blaming an innocent coach.
On what basis are they awarding the cup to Morocco?
Was the match abandoned?
The play the match to the end and referee blow the final whistle and Morocco lost.
Segalease coach and his team were fined by FIFA and CAF for leaving the pitch out of annoyance.
So what brought the issue of stripping them off the trophy again after 3 months?

The ref had a right to call it a forfeited game but in his wisdom, chose not to. The ref missed the call/didn’t call it. Game continued and Senegal won.
CAF should have let it be. If anything, ban and/or fine the ref for exercising poor judgment. This reversal smells like kwarupshun.
