Referee restarted the game and so therefore Senegal did not forfeit the game.

Senegal won the match on open play everything was fair why this rubbish and you think we Africa will take this? Rub black to favor arab, unacceptable.
Before the final minutes Senegal scored a goal which was cancelled but awarded a penalty to morroco in zero minutes in what would be non foul if it was against Senegal.
What's Senegal ask for is fair play, let open play determine the winner and they won.
Morroco should work harder to win this upcoming edition and leave this for Senegal.

Without justice, there's no moral reason for fairness. The referee was bias and corrupt. There was var for incidences like that, why did the referee refuse to use it?
Was the match fixed? Was the outcome predetermined?

The rule is the rule, keep emotion aside, Senegal guffed by walking off the pitch like they were playing some secondary school competition(Principals Cup), the rule is that if 5 players of the same team are off the pitch the referee will close the match in favour of the other team, in fact the ref should have close the match that day after they walked off the pitch, there shouldn’t have been any continuation because it made mockery of the rules guiding football.

Even though I didn’t like Morocco’s unjust favoritism through out the tournament and I was really routing for Senegal to win but there should be consequences for actions for deterrence .

So why did nt they apply the rule then, why a month after, when the March was restarted and ompleted with a clear Winter? I wonder how some of you reason? The future generation is also joining the old generation in making the same mistake.

Senegal was declared champion after they won the interrupted game, when it resumed.

CAF is not serious.

They have made a complete mockery of that competition.

The ref had a right to call it a forfeited game but in his wisdom, chose not to. The ref missed the call/didn’t call it. Game continued and Senegal won.

End of story.

The ref did not call the game abandoned in that moment. The players all came back on the pitch and played the game until 120 mins.

The match was won on the field. End of story. This is an appalling decision by CAF.
