Imagine if both Morocco & Senegal were both stripped and the trophy handed over to Nigeria that came 3rd.
You can't compare whatever feelings Nigerians will have with the Joy & Euphoria of actually winning the Trophy on the pitch. I personally won't even celebrate or recognise such.
Reason Nigeria would have just been "WINNERS ON PAPER", which would just be for the records.

The rule is the rule, keep emotion aside, Senegal guffed by walking off the pitch like they were playing some secondary school competition(Principals Cup), the rule is that if 5 players of the same team are off the pitch the referee will close the match in favour of the other team, in fact the ref should have close the match that day after they walked off the pitch, there shouldn’t have been any continuation because it made mockery of the rules guiding football.

Even though I didn’t like Morocco’s unjust favoritism through out the tournament and I was really routing for Senegal to win but there should be consequences for actions for deterrence .
