That's true. But they have a rule that if you walk out of the an ongoing match more than 10 min you forfeit the match. I think that's what they followed

But I think it's the duty of the referee to give that decision on the pitch not after 2 months. They are supposed to sanction the ref for that then allow the result of the game to stand. AFCON will become a thing of joke.

Whoever failed to implement the rule, but allowed the match to continue, should be sanctioned.

A Referee's on-field decisions or misinterpretation of rules are final. He can only be sanctioned after the match.

See how almost everyone on the first page saw it as unserious and a joke. Same scenario the electoral reform was about that pre election matters should be solved before, not after.

You know why some of us don't talk when some people make so-called racist comments about us, it's because of a situation like this.

Corrupt CAF did what they had planned from the beginning, which was making sure Morocco won the trophy by any means necessary.

For me personally, I think there is "racism" involved. It pained them to the marrow that a black African team went to Afcon with a black indigenous coach and actually won. They'd rather continue the tradition of African countries paying humongous amounts of money to foreign coaches. Personally, I believe if the coach were foreign the decision would have been different. All part of the subtle politics involved in international Football.
