I have not seen any tangible investment a well known organization that beckons on employment for the youths rather than oil this , nnpc that , dangote this fuel rise that. Tell me one tangible investors like Lidl, Tesco, Coop, MacDonalds, KFC, Starbucks, Office depot, Toyota, Tesla, Google, China Merchant Bank, etc

Lagos governor gets a pass though more work needs to be done.

Focus and energy must be on the other states where nothing tangible happens even in the state capitals yet governors are like emperors and traditional rulers. You can't face them.

When they come with their inclement tax policies and increase rates here and there the public pushes back and refuses to pay more. They will get the picture that people are unhappy with the way their finances are used.

The more push back you do the more they become open and transparent with governance. The more they will call you in to decide how money is spent.

A man, a business, a country that is heavily in debt and cannot repay has sold away his privacy. To help him the creditor decides how much sugar he puts in his tea and the quality of toilet roll he uses to clean up.

Government cannot be in such enormous debt and deficit to the public and carry on its laissez-faire attitude.

That's why I've been warning people to stop attacking tribes rather they should attack the politicians. I live in South West and I can say it boldly that less than 20% of the Yoruba are in support of Tinubu, before his election and even right now. So Obidients should learn not to attack tribes. The result in 2023 is a product of mass rigging.

As someone who is very critical of the current APC government, I would have jumped on this thread to insult and condemn the Lagos state governor, HE Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
But I have never allowed my opinion about the Tinubu-led disaster called a government to affect my objectivity.
I respond to issues on their merit and not with a prior mindset.
Having said that, I want to say that there is nothing wrong with what Sanwo-Olu did.
The reason is that he didn't travel to the UK just to go and receive Tinubu.
Sanwo-Olu was there for a Strategist Investment Roundtable organised by the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC) in partnership with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CEIC).
As the investment hub of Africa, lagos will be hosting the Invest Lagos 3.0 summit in June this year, and it is only crucial that the governor seizes the opportunity of the roundtable to promote and project that summit.
Him being in the UK at a time the president is visiting only makes it logical for him to receive him.
Even though it's not the best of times for the Nigerian president to leave the country!
