They tried to silence & bury us, but we refused to fizzle out. Bigkoko Group is bouncing back! After a 2025 year of the locusts! Watch out for my new series called #RwandaDiaries, a tell-it-all about my Rwanda Experience! Prologue: The Red Dust and the Silence They call it the land of a thousand hills, but they don’t tell you about the silence between them. They call it the land of a thousand hills, but for me, the first thing I felt wasn’t the altitude—it was the weight of the silence. It’s a specific kind of quiet that blankets Kigali; a disciplined, humming stillness that suggests every person you pass is moving with a precise, unwritten purpose. Before I landed in Kigali, my head was a mosaic of headlines, statistics, and second-hand histories. I thought I was arriving with my eyes open, ready to document a "rising Africa" or a "post-conflict miracle." I didn't realize that Rwanda doesn't just let you observe it; it filters into you, challenging every assumption you brought in your carry-on. This isn’t a travel guide. It’s not a sanitized press release or a collection of "top ten things to do." This is the raw, unedited account of what happens when expectations hit reality at 1,500 meters above sea level. I didn't come here to be a tourist. I came with a suitcase full of expectations and a mind geared toward the friction of building something new. But Rwanda has a way of stripping back your layers. It forces you to look at the intersection of progress and history, of digital dreams and the very real, red earth beneath your feet. Also, there is this unspoken fear of being watched, a silent, creepy feeling masked by a plastic smile. They all wear it, and it hits like a rotten egg. In these pages, you’ll find the grit behind the clean streets of the capital. You’ll find the conversations that happen in low voices over Urwagwa, the frustration of cultural bottlenecks, and the breathtaking efficiency of a nation determined to reinvent its future. I wrote this in the heat of the moment—sometimes literally—capturing the moments that made me question my own place in the world. And off course a creepy horde of Government undertakers, whose job it is to enforce govt illegalities! This is not a polished brochure or a sanitized corporate report. This is a record of the "in-between" moments—the late-night negotiations, the cultural mirrors I didn't expect to see myself in, and the raw reality of navigating a landscape that is as beautiful as it is demanding. The ink is barely dry, and the honesty is intentional. In these pages, I am opening the ledger. From the boardrooms of the so called "Singapore of Africa" to the quiet corners where the real stories are told, this is my experience. This is my Rwanda Diary. From safety, i can say Welcome to the Rwanda Diary ~ My Truth, my Facts & my Experiences! Rwanda. Beautiful Rwanda A country where it is a crime to ask where someone is from. Unlike the open tribalism we practice here. Where everybody sees himself as a citizen of Rwanda Of course after a bitter Genocide between the Hutus and Tutsis, everybody don learn their lessons unlike the rubbish we keep doing here |

All eyes are on Kenya regarding the illegal & extra-ordinary rendition, exxtra-judicial rendition of Nigerian-born British separatist leader Mazi Nnamdi Kalu from Nairobi Kenya to Nigeria in 2021, but after reading this piece, you will realize it was Rwanda that set the ball rolling. And they did it with near perfect secrecy, except that.....one of their officer, someone under the pay roll of a mutual contact decided to tell me under a strict sense of secrecy & Non Disclose Agreement the exact facts. In his exact words: We did it, just that we don't want him taken from Kigali...since he told the Immigration during check-in that he plan to visit Kenya too, we suggested to the Nigerians (Nigeria Intelligence Service) to wait for him in Nairobi - Jomo-kenyatta airport, instead of Kigali (KGL). What they do from then, is no longer our responsibility as you know.[ . True. Mazi Nnamdi Kalu was kidnapped within Jomo-Kenyatta airport area in 2021, beaten, tortured and eventually kidnapped from Nairobi I to Abuja. His details and travel itinenary was provided by the UK Mi6. They agreed after much pressure from Buhari to help set up MNK with an offer too sweet he won't reject. And they found a willing soul-mate in Kagame govt. It was on a fine day, and Mazi Nnamdi Kalu just got off the plane from whereever to a known Destination: KIGALI Rwanda enroute to Mombasa Kenya for a meeting with a fake group who claim to be affiliated with a Jewish lobby group in the USA, but operating from East Africa. I believe a $5M donation for separatist cause was also on the table if MNK provides irrefutable evidence of how he intends to achieve his core objectives......., but unknown to him the airplane he boarded were explicitly asked by the Rwanda Intelligence Service to let them know via the Rwanda Immigration when tourist X (the coded name for MNK, the Nigerian person of interest who MI6 had requested coordination for onward trip to Nigeria). The landing was successful and his details were passed to Rwanda border officials who passed the same to Rwanda Intelligence services. Right from the moment MNK left the airport for his hotel room, he was tracked and 98% of all his communications were heard and laughed over by the Rwanda Intelligence services. In fact, they were actually impressed by the smartness of the young man who the Nigerian govt tabled $1M USD just toto bring back to Nigeria dead or alive. (Note: this was the money the Rwandans got officially for their help. The politicians behind his ordeal during Buhari govt might have earmarked larger sums compared to what the Rwandans got). Mistake number one, for a high profile personality of MNK calibre, It is expected he should have used a dummy accommodation rental during chec-ins, instead of moving in directly on his pre-booked room in Kigali. Once in Africa, he should know It would be bugged and clearly his communications forwarded to the Nigeria Intelligence Service as proof that he, "MNK" took the Kenya bait...that indeed, no action were to be enforced on him right within Rwanda territories, and that like a mouse smelling the cool aroma of cheese, he "MNK" will walk into their trap in Nairobi. That was exactly what happened! Kindly note that every piece of this supposedly classic information was as a result of the investigations conducted by a researcher under the payroll of Bigkoko Group, seeking to understand the circumstances which led to the kidnap & extra-judicial and extra-ordinary rendition of the separatist leader from Kenya to Nigeria in 2021. This is the first time I will be releasing the findings of this research. I decided to de-classify our findings because Nigerians deserve to know the facts and understand Govt-2-govt cooperation, in case it became your turn to flee for safety! Do not blame Sunday Igboho too much, not everyone can stand the heat of the kitchen on patriotic enough to their principle or Will. But the Igbos are different. Your comments are welcomed. Be civil. Keep it humane, interactive and respectful for the opinion of others. |

I beg to disagreed. Some really maniacal Tutsis decided to hold every other persons hostage (both Tutsis & Hutus). I tell you, Rwanda is not a place you wish to be a citizen off...... Have you heard of Pegasus? or uburozi? Do a little research on Google on these and Rwanda. The Rwandan government has been accused of using various methods to target critics, with reports highlighting allegations of poisoning, particularly involving unidentified, specialized substances that are difficult for standard European hospitals to detect. ~ EU Observer "Poisoned Handshakes" and Clothes: Reports indicate allegations of "poisoned handshakes" or clothes soaked in poison, which can be absorbed through the skin. "Invisible Poisoners": There are long-standing accusations regarding the use of stealthy, "invisible" poisons, sometimes referred to in earlier contexts as "utuzi twa Munyuza" (a colloquial term referring to a high-ranking official). Uncommon Agents: Toxicologists and EU investigators have raised the possibility of the use of specialized, uncommon plant- or animal-based venom extracts that might be overlooked by standard hospital protocols. Targeting Methods: Critics and dissidents have reported being followed, kidnapped, or subjected to assassination attempts in Africa and Europe, with some experiencing sudden illnesses. ~ EUobserver Note: The Rwandan government typically denies these allegations, often describing them as part of a "dirty tricks campaign" or propaganda. ~ The Guardian happney65: |

Dear FSBoperator, I recognize your right to air your opinion even though, you can't do so in Kigali, assuming you are Rwandese. Bigkoko:How do I know you are IPOB? With how you began blaming Rwanda as being part of the plot to have your kanu duly apprehended and brought back to Nigeria to face his trial that was ongoing back then. Why also are you ignoring the fact that Kanu travelled first from the UK to Israel? It was Mossad that sold him out as a slave that he is. Have you forgotten about the Dikko Affair and how Buhari and all northern military and political elite have strong ties to Mossad and Israel without making a fool of themselves? Buhari hired Mossad to abduct and bring back Umaru Dikko from London. IBB had Mossad as his inner bodyguard when he was HoS. Only Abacha refused to have any dealings with Mossad and Israel beyond the normal diplomatic relationship. OBJ also had CIA and Mossad swarming Aso Rock both as HoS and later civilian President. Yaradua kicked them out but GEJ restored them back but prefered to have SA mercs around. Buhari had them back in Aso Rock. |

The Kigali-Nairobi Pipeline According to court filings and investigative reports from the time, the journey began in Kigali, Rwanda, where the leader had been staying in May 2021. He traveled from Kigali to Nairobi, Kenya, entering on his British passport. At the time, Kigali was seen as a relatively safe transit point or temporary haven, given its high security and organized infrastructure. Reports surfaced that he was enticed to move to a specific location with the promise of a multi-million dollar cash donation to the IPOB cause. Security sources suggested that the prospect of such a significant financial boost—and his desire to collect it personally due to internal trust issues within his organization—was the "hook" that brought him out of his secure bubble. "Once in Nairobi, MNK spent roughly three weeks to two months living in an upscale furnished apartment in the Kilimani suburb. On June 19, 2021, MNK reportedly went to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to pick up a friend. While he was on a phone call with his brother in Germany, he was accosted by unidentified security agents. Witnesses and legal teams later alleged he was blindfolded, tortured, and held incommunicado in a "private house" in Kenya for eight days before being bundled onto a private jet to Abuja. While the Nigerian government initially described the operation as a "collaborative effort of international intelligence," the Kenyan government spent years denying any official involvement, calling the allegations "fictional. "However, the legal tide shifted significantly. A Nigerian High Court in Umuahia ruled the arrest was illegal and ordered his return to Kenya. June 2025: The High Court of Kenya in Nairobi delivered a landmark ruling, declaring the detention and transfer as unlawful, illegal, and unconstitutional. The court awarded him 10 million Kenyan shillings in damages, effectively confirming that "rogue elements" or a coordinated shadow operation had by passed all formal extradition treaties. The rogue elements in this case are the British, Nigeria, Rwanda & Kenya Intelligence services. |

The Operational Incompetence of IPOB The $5 Million Donation Trap and the Death of Competence In the high-stakes theater of the Rwanda-Kenya-Nigeria intelligence triangle, we often talk about the "Invisible Hand" of the state—the cold, calculated reach of security services that ignore borders to get their man. But looking back at the 2021 rendition of the IPOB leader from the streets of Kigali to a Nigeria govt Nairobi safe house, the real story isn’t just the prowess of the hunters. It’s the staggering, unpardonable un-seriousness of the hunted and his organization ~ IPOB. Here was a movement that claimed world-wide clout. They could lock down major Southeast cities with a whisper and organize massive protests in London, Helsinki, D.C., and New York. Pan-African solidarity groups, anti-colonial advocates, and accountability watchdogs across the globe looked on, expecting a certain level of sophisticated defiance. It was lacking. Instead, we saw a $10 million project collapse because of a lack of basic tradecraft. It is frankly abysmal. For a group of that scale, you’d expect the simplest of security structures: a dedicated Counter-Surveillance Officer (CSO) whose sole job was to sweep the rooms, vet the transit routes, and "sanitize" the spaces where their leader laid his head. If you are playing a game where the stakes are imprisonment, torture, life, death, and sovereignty, how do you walk into a "cash lure" without a sweep team? To me, this isn’t just a tactical error; it’s a betrayal of their cause. It shows a fundamental lack of discipline that borders on the amateur. You cannot claim to be a revolutionary force while failing at "Security 101." The "Invisible Hand" of the intelligence services didn't have to work that hard—they simply waited for the ego and the lack of structure to do the job for them. In my world of the Rwanda Diary, I’ve learned one thing: Intelligence isn’t just about who has the most fund or guns; it’s about who is the most serious. And on that day, one side clearly wasn't. And it was IPOB! "The 'Invisible Hand' of the Rwanda-Kenya-Nigeria intelligence triangle didn't just succeed because of their own prowess; they succeeded because of the abysmal structural failure of IPOB itself. For a multi-million dollar project with worldwide clout and the ability to shut down major cities in the Igbo heartland with a single command, or organizes protests/demonstrations in major cities in the world, the lack of a basic security protocol is unpardonable. Pan-African solidarity groups and anti-colonial advocates expected at least a rudimentary Counter-Surveillance Office (CSO)—someone to sweep a room with simple Interference tools you can buy on Craiglist or Amazon or vet a transit route. To vanish from a high-security environment like Kigali only to be snatched in Nairobi because you lacked the simplest of safety nets isn't just a tragedy; it’s a mark of terminal un-seriousness. Let me Tell-It-All as I see it as a researcher. "Let’s be honest the IPOB project collapsed not because the 'Invisible Hand' of regional intelligence was invincible, but because the movement’s leadership was amateurish. How does a global separatist group—one that can organize thousands in London or D.C.—fail at the most basic level of trade-craft? There was no CSO, no room sweeps, no tactical foresight. You don't walk out of a place like Kigali into a trap in Nairobi without a security detail unless you’ve fundamentally failed at the job of being a revolutionary. To accountability advocates and those of us watching from the inside, this wasn't just a security breach—it was an unpardonable display of incompetence. Even fraternity groups in varsities understood the need for what I am talking of! The fall of the top IPOB leadership in the Rwanda-Kenya-Nigeria triangle is a masterclass in how not to run a movement! Need personalized Research of any thing if your interest? The Cabo Delgado Checkmate: When the EU Stopped Paying the Tab The headlines are finally catching up to the whispers I’ve been hearing in the corridors of Kigali: EU: No More Funding for Rwanda’s Military Mission in Mozambique — Le Monde. For years, Rwanda was the West’s "security sub-contractor" in Africa. When the Islamic insurgency in Cabo Delgado threatened the $20 billion interests of TotalEnergies, Eni, and ExxonMobil, Kigali sent in the RDF. The European Union happily footed the bill with €20M tranches, viewing Rwanda as the disciplined force that could do what others couldn't. But the Rwanda Diary just recorded a major plot twist. For three years, the narrative was perfect: Rwanda was the "African solution to African problems," the efficient, disciplined force that stepped in where the UN and SADC faltered. They were the guardians of the gas—protecting the massive interests of TotalEnergies, Eni, and ExxonMobil in the insurgent-heavy Cabo Delgado. But as of March 2026, the tap has been twisted shut. The EU has decided not to renew the €20 million support package. The "Surprise Package" from the DRC As the old saying goes, "You cannot set your neighbor's house on fire and expect your own to remain cool." The EU’s refusal to renew the military funding—as reported by Le Monde—isn't just a budget cut. It is a direct diplomatic blowback from Rwanda’s escalating involvement in the Eastern DRC. While Kigali was guarding French gas in Mozambique, it was simultaneously being accused by the UN and the US of backing M23 rebels across its own border. The "beloved dictator" (as some call him) has finally found the limit of European "coherence." Brussels can no longer justify writing checks to an army that is being sanctioned by the US Treasury for destabilizing a neighboring sovereign state The DRC Shadow Let’s be honest: this isn't about Mozambique. This is about the "surprised packages" coming out of the Democratic Republic of Congo. For years, the international community played a game of "blind-eye diplomacy"—praising Rwanda for securing gas fields in the South while quietly documenting its alleged "misadventures" with the M23 rebels in the West. But with recent U.S. sanctions hitting the RDF and the UN providing mountains of evidence regarding the pillaging of DRC’s mineral wealth, the EU finally found its moral (or perhaps just its political) compass. The "Beloved Dictator’s" Dilemma This puts the Kigali administration in a fascinating bind. Rwanda’s military is its greatest export—it buys diplomatic leverage and masks domestic critiques. By securing Cabo Delgado, Rwanda made itself indispensable to France and Italy. But you can only play both sides of the fence for so long. The EU’s refusal to fund the mission is a signal that the cost of Rwanda's involvement in the DRC now outweighs the benefits of its security work in Mozambique. The Oil & Gas Vacuum This leaves the titans—TotalEnergies and ExxonMobil—in a precarious spot. They relied on the "Rwandan shield" to keep the jihadists at bay. Now, that shield has no international refueling. The Irony: The very minerals and resources Rwanda is accused of "eyeing" in the DRC have now cost them the legitimacy (and the cash) to protect the resources in Mozambique. The Fallacy: This "misadventure" proves that you can’t run a professional mercenary-style state for the West while playing a 19th-century expansionist game in your own backyard. My Take for the Rwanda Diary: Diary Takeaway: The era of the "blank check" for Kigali is ending. The EU is pivoting toward humanitarian aid for Mozambique rather than direct military payments to Rwanda. For a regime that prides itself on "First Principles" and modular efficiency, this is a systemic failure. They overplayed their hand, and the "Invisible Hand" of international finance is withdrawing. The "miracle" is getting expensive. And as the DRC conflict continues to bleed Kigali’s diplomatic capital, the Mozambique mission might just be the first domino to fall. The "miracle" is beginning to fray at the edges. When you position yourself as the continent's elite "security-for-hire" service, your reputation is your only currency. If the EU—traditionally Rwanda’s most "patient" partner—is pulling the plug, it means the "Invisible Hand" we discussed earlier has finally been caught in the cookie jar of the DRC. The question now is: Will Rwanda stay in Mozambique to protect the gas on its own dime, or will it withdraw and let the "Islamic State" return to Total Energies’ doorstep as a form of geopolitical blackmail? Compiled by the CEO of Bigkoko Group. |
