"Initially, Pat Utomi had secured the LP's presidential ticket, but when Peter Obi said he resigned from the PDP and joined the LP. Bola Tinubu, a master political strategist, quickly told Utomi, that everyone knows to be his son to step down for Obi.

"The “president-elect” saw in Obi's presidential bid, a good chance to reduce the winning chances of the presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar.

"What Peter Obi didn't know is much more that what he knows, he started collecting campaign funds from Utomi, while Tinubu was giving the money to Utomi.

"This went on until Obi's presidential campaign got to a stage it went beyond target. Obi was used without him knowing," Akinwale said after announcing his departure from the party.

Obi defected to the LP after resigning his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and also withdrawing from the presidential race under the party.

The former governor consequently joined the race for the party’s presidential ticket, while Professor Pat Utomi, in June 2022 stepped down for him to emerge as the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, unopposed in Asaba, Delta State.

In all of this, there is this one language I hate to hear. "They will GIVE ME TICKET". Tickets are not given in elections. They are contested. The moment you lose interest in contesting for ticket in an election, you are as good as being a defective or defeated politician.

How then do you carry your followers along? that you are so unpopular to the extent of asking that ticket be given to you! If it is sure for you, you will gather your people, campaign, and win the ticket.

PO is confusing himself. He joined ADC with the hope of getting the ticket. Meanwhile, the "big guns" are already rocking ADC before his arrival. He would have played the game for LP and OBIdients would have supported him with everything, even with BLOOD. Game of politics requires numbers and not colours. PO is busy with party while BAT is pouring CONCRETE to prepare ground. I personally don't like BAT but which party can beat the drum of APC currently??

Let me remind you, 2027 election is coming in January next year......and it's less than 11months from now.

I suspected this man knew this from the onset.

Who knows if the plan is to somehow sabotage ol' Atiku so his secret master will win again.
