All we see and hear is that recruitment is based on job need. So hypothetically that could mean more people. At the same time, we are all speculating. We can only be hopeful that more people will be recruited. Just my opinion though.

Jobbernath:
Is Train 7 complete now? Last I read from the website it's 80% complete. It will be goodnews for us if it is completed cos it means more people will be recruited abi @airsaylongcome ?
Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by Yamskii: 4:30pm On Mar 19
Thank you. Better to have something and not need it than need and not have it
airsaylongcome:
My experience is completely different from the last one and this one mainly because our recruitment lasted 4 years! So while it would be tone-deaf on my part, I sometimes chuckle when I read you guys grumble about the suspense. Ours was beyond suspense. It was a complete pause for long periods, and there were rumours that it almost got called off. Story for another day.

That aside, like UcBren, I speculate that invites will start coming in early in April and AC would start in May. Emphasis on SPECULATE. The basis of my speculation is based on some information I saw on the SHL website which I’m purposely being vague about (make I no go raise una hope unnecessarily lol). Be that as it may, my advice is to keep preparing. Worst that happens is someone doesn’t get called up, but you would have gained some knowledge all the same.

Personally, I’d rather have something and not need it, than need something and not have it

I don’t think it’s completed yet. The heavy emphasis on safety there means that even if it is completed today, it will still take sometime before it is producing. But yes it is an opportunity for possibly expanding the number of recruited GTs ahead of it coming on line.

Kindly elaborate on the information u saw on SHL Website pls.

I don’t want to say a lot. All I would say is “training timetable”.

After we finished ours in December, funny how d guy posted it on LinkedIn saw the mail sent to the second batch (those who wrote in the first/second week of January) stating that the process was reviewed to give more people a chance to take part in the assessment. Then on January 30, another mail was sent for the second test about 2 weeks after the second batch finished.

The real impact of business needs, Job requirement and individual qualifications comes in after the AC we can’t say if it’ll be used for AC invite aside the normal pass grade but that’s beyond us to control.

For now, we’ll just hope for the AC invite to give in our best and hoping the business need favors a lot of us numerically

Log in credentials for AC??!!!

That's a new one.
Man, do you just intentionally try to get on nerves?
Verify your contents at least before you post. You can't be trying your best to confuse the greater number of us here.

Once again, all prospective AC candidates and guests viewing for fun purposes, take everything this moniker says with a pinch of salt.

Adios!!

JobsLever:
Based on feedback from candidates who have gone through the NLNG recruitment process, the time between receiving the Assessment Center invitation email and the actual assessment is usually quite short—typically between one and three weeks.

Here’s what you should know:

1. Assessment Center Invitation Email

When NLNG sends out the invitation email, it usually includes everything you need: your login credentials, instructions, the venue (if it’s a physical assessment), the date, and the time of your Assessment Center.

2. Preparation Window

Once the invitation is sent, most candidates have one to three weeks to prepare. Some candidates have even reported getting as little as one week’s notice, so it’s important to be ready to start preparing quickly.

3. Assessment Center Date

NLNG usually organizes multiple batches on different dates, so your exact Assessment Center date may vary depending on your batch.

Tips to Make the Most of Your Preparation Time

1. Practice case studies and group exercises
A lot of candidates use the Assessment Center study material to get ready. You can access it here: https://selar.com/nlngassessmentcenter

2. Brush up on NLNG corporate knowledge
Learn about their history, operations, and core values. This can really give you an edge during group discussions or interviews.

3. Get your documents ready
Make sure all your identification and credentials are organized and ready to go before the screening day.

Because the notice period is usually short, many candidates start preparing right after completing the NLNG Aptitude Test, so they’re not caught off guard when the invitation email arrives.

I literally settled down to read through that post and I was hoodwinked.

Man was just "spitting baloney".

Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by UcBren(m): 7:39pm On Mar 19
Qatar was pumping around 77–80 million tonnes a year before all this blew up (they'd already halted production earlier this month after the initial attacks/drone stuff).
Losing 17% of that is massive, easily the biggest single disruption we've seen in LNG in ages, with repairs said to take around 3-5 years from reports.

Thankfully, because of these activities, we (NLNG) might likely be able to cover a little bit of the gap created, but we're still far off from achieving close to half of what Qatar LNG produces. So, even if Train 7 comes online, demand would be crazzyyy.

Still, let it just come online already abegggg.
Let them need about 1000 GTs this time around. grin grin

airsaylongcome:
“Bad” as it may sound, the recent “activity” on Qatar Gas is good news. Hopefully “we” can meet the shortfall arising from that “activity”. 22m mtpa is really too small for “us”. Train 7 needs to be online like yesterday.

Hopefully AC news comes soon for you guys.

I’m reading that the “activity” took out 17% of Qatar LNG, approximately 12.5m tons per year. That’s huge!

Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by UcBren(m): 7:55pm On Mar 19
I wouldn't want to entertain a "session" with you, but as already earlier established, NLNG only conducts physical assessments at their centers.

Think of those that had to take flights down to Nigeria, why wasn't it done "virtually" since they were "indisposed"?

I, for one would prefer doing it virtually if there is an option that allows that.
Once again, verify before posting.

Thank you and God bless.

JobsLever:
That's if it is virtual for those that might be indisposed.

Yes we learn everyday, When you receive an invitation to the NLNG Assessment Center, your login credentials (usually a username/email and password) are very important. Your login credentials are mainly used to give you secure access to the assessment process and related activities.

I don’t think virtual AC will EVER be a thing. Not with the “crazy” level of cheating some of you tried to do (and even did) during the aptitude test.

Meanwhile, ^^^ your “guy” is digging his hole deeper. “Jump am pass”

Funny enough, it happens with some top organizations, not NLNG though.

As for the bolded, it's been duly noted.

Thankfully, you'd be here when the AC invite mails come in, and I pray to God that your eyes would be opened like Paul to see that you've been spewing "ignorance" all the while.

Virtual AC is a thing no doubt. But omo, the cheating some of you did during the aptitude test ehn, I don’t know that HR has the energy to be spot checking all of you for AC. Huge drain on resources

Register for AC!!! Look and “commot” eye o.

And abeg, don’t “insult” the word ignorance. It’s several levels higher than what you are equating it with

The same level of cheating occured in the 2022 GT set though.
It would actually be hard to do anything about it, but again, people can't hide from the Assessment Centre.

I’m guessing the cheating just makes it easier to filter the wheat from the chaff. Imagine people bringing their entire family to “write” the exam for them simply because “I dey my house”

^^^, still “Jump am pass o”

I have a question for whoever can answer me CORRECTLY.

How long does a Graduate Trainee take before he/she is promoted to the next level, and what is the next level of promotion?

Edit: I'll rephrase, what is the next official step after the graduate trainee stage and what's the duration for the GT stage?

Keeping up with the Joneses literally. Like when you are completely out of your depth, you know it, those in the room know it, but you still want to form like you know what you’re doing. There should be a point you bluff to and you just put your hands up and say “Una don catch me”. But I guess not everyone gets to that point

I don't know why something keeps telling me that those who will be invited and even pass the Assessment Center are non members of this forum, they are just observing whereas those that keeps speaking grammar here might not even be invited for the Assessment Center.

You make it sound like it's everyone that's going to get in. From the onset of this recruitment maybe 0.1% of total applicants or less than will eventually be recruited. Not everyone will work in oil and gas and that's okay. Whatever happens life goes on. You've been AI spamming from onset and instead of listening to reasoning u choose to be shameless. This is the last time I will personally respond u or comment on anything relating to ur post, keep up the shameless attitude.
