^^^^ you are absolutely right about being unable to shame the shameless. What irks me is the total inability to learn. Thousands of times (I’m exaggerating I know) the right thing has been alluded to. In some cases outrightly pointed out and spelt out, but the response has always been “I know pass all of una”.

Off to more interesting things jare.

At everyone, I spoke about “training timetable” earlier. Read chapter one of the “MAP”, then “put two and two together”

Jobbernath:
Ever heard of the phrase "u can't shame the shameless" I think that's what we're experiencing with him.

I have a question for whoever can answer me CORRECTLY.

How long does a Graduate Trainee take before he/she is promoted to the next level, and what is the next level of promotion?

Edit: I'll rephrase, what is the next official step after the graduate trainee stage and what's the duration for the GT stage?
I think @airsaylongcom did mention the GT program runs for 3 years, after which one is promoted, can't remember the exact position he mentioned.

Though, some people got promoted before that 3 years.

This was mentioned somewhere on this thread

Yes we learn everyday, When you receive an invitation to the NLNG Assessment Center, your login credentials (usually a username/email and password) are very important. Your login credentials are mainly used to give you secure access to the assessment process and related activities.
Why would we need login credentials for a physical stuff? As in we must say it at the center before we are granted access or what? 🫠
Re: NLNG Recruitment 2025/2026 by airsaylongcome: 7:53am On Mar 20
“It” is craving my attention. Even my mention. Not today Satan. Not today or ever.

Focus on your “login credentials” and “pre registration” for AC

My first post on nairaland grin.

Thank you, airsay, for all the information you've selflessly shared on the GT process for NLNG hopefuls like me.

For the quoted post, I'm unsure about how these activities will lead to hiring more GTs (although I pray every day that this happens grin).

My reason is that Train 7 has already been slated to increase capacity to 30 mtpa. And before this process started, NLNG must have been aware of the number of new hires they'd need to cater to all their trains, including the new one. Given safety concerns and the time it takes to build a new train (Train 7 construction started in 2021), I'm not sure these events can immediately affect the current hiring process (unless, of course, the process is delayed for a while until final expansion decisions are made).

airsaylongcome:
“Bad” as it may sound, the recent “activity” on Qatar Gas is good news. Hopefully “we” can meet the shortfall arising from that “activity”. 22m mtpa is really too small for “us”. Train 7 needs to be online like yesterday.

Hopefully AC news comes soon for you guys.

I’m reading that the “activity” took out 17% of Qatar LNG, approximately 12.5m tons per year. That’s huge!

Not sure if I insinuated (in the quoted post) that the “activities” in Qatar (by Iran) would increase the number of hired GTs. I was referring to the supply side shortfall and the positives for NLNG. But yeah your assertions are right that the GT numbers was known ahead of the recruitment.

PS: Let me be mischievous a bit 🙄😊cheesy
The above WAS NOT written by AI. So “my apprentices” are free to comment about it. lol

A. Pre-Assessment Verification

Some assessment centers verify candidates through a portal

You might be asked to log in on a device

B. Result/Status Checking

After the assessment center, you will use it to check updates online

For those asking for the study material for Assessment Center, you can find it here: https://selar.com/nlngassessmentcenter

How true is this statement?
Because if it's true... it will give majority of us equal fighting chance
And how true is that they have quota like federal character in their recruitment of GTs to balance it across all Nigerian geopolitical zone?

Never heard of a “federal character” system there. There was talk about a Bonny quota. The Bonny folks that got hired in my time DESERVED to be there. One already had her PhD from the UK when we resumed

Good afternoon everyone 😊

I recently started working in financial advisory, helping individuals and businesses manage idle funds better.

One thing many people don’t realise is that leaving large amounts in a normal account quietly loses value over time.

There are safe short-term options like Treasury Bills and other money market instruments backed by the Central Bank of Nigeria that allow your money earn predictable returns instead of just sitting.

If you ever want to understand how it works or see current rates, feel free to message me privately — happy to explain

Quick question @airsaylongcome please do all GT’s resume at Bonny initially?

They did in my time. For initial training and onboarding. Engineering GTs did three weeks in Bonny and traveled to the UK for their intensive engineering training. Business GTs flew into Bonny after the Engineers left and had a three month stay in Bonny before jetting abroad for a three week link up with the Engineers.

Heard all of that has changed now though and the training is now at LBS. But I’m certain everyone first flies into Bonny for orientation before going to Lagos for LBS

When you get the offer package, there’s a form included for you to provide references. So start “catching all your village people” now so you know which ones not to put grin
