We need to know the gains of the visit and how it affects the country at large. Insecurity is our greatest challenge for now , and I doubt if it was in any of the agenda during the visit. We spent billions of naira to lobby and prep for this which benefited U.K lobbyists, event management companies, hotels, and restaurants — and we “supposedly” secured a deal that will benefit U.K. construction companies, engineers, and the U.K. government.

All in a bid to raise shoulder and say “U.K. recognized us”.

1. Minister of education said he wants to bring a UK university certificate to Nigeria.
2. Zenith bank opened a branch in Manchester
3. UK wants to use Nigeria as deportation ground for illegal asylum seekers.
