So, you are not interested in how to get the woman out. You are only interested in how not to vote for Tinubu.
I am usually surprised that some Nigerians are not in anyway interested in good governance, instead, they are just interested in their preferred candidate to win the election.
Is tinubu providing this 'good governance' that you talked about?

Withdraw?
How?

The victims families or the kidnappers?
Anyone. The monies that are usually demanded should be traceable. Banks should make it difficult and more verifiable for people to just withdraw huge amounts in these times. If not everytime. The money must have a trace. They should make it harder for people to gather such huge cash to deliver to kidnappers. Bank transactions should be easier and more preferred to cash withdrawal for such huge amounts.

NO ransom was paid in this case. Thank God. But, yes, people have paid in excess of 15m in the past. And, yes, it shows our security system isn't up to scratch if people are able to pay that kind of money and the bandits are able to disappear with it.
Yeah, thanks for the clarification. The point is still valid though. They make it more lucrative in a sense. i agree with your point.

I saw your post and had to look at the previous posts you have made, and honestly I am not surprise. You completely ignored the actual issue staring you in the face and instead decided to introduce an entirely ridiculous angle to this issue.
Let me know the actual issue. politics and Obi, right?

When will this kidnapping issue, end in Nigeria?
The APC government cannot deny they don't know these kidnappers. They work for them. When we eradicate the cancer APC, Nigeria will begin the part of recovery.

How on earth is anyone allowed to withdraw 15million naira cash. Such amount must have a lot of justification. Why can't we have simple paper trail. i want to assume the ransom was not done by bank transfer.
You dey read to comprehend at all? "He escaped after 15 million ransom demand" Which means the money was never paid! Chai...na wah o .?

I never defended tinubu in my comment. You just don't know how to stick to the topic of conversation. You asked how it can be stopped and I gave you.
I don't even support the APC.
Kidnapping destroyed the economy of warri because no real punishment was given. Bro learn to have a civil conversation
They don't reason well at all, once you didn't tell them what they want to hear you are automatically supporting Tinubu.

Let me know the actual issue. politics and Obi, right?
The issue is that you are questioning the justification to withdraw 15 million raised by family and friends of the kidnap victim?

Any rational thinking person or any thinking person for that matter would know that the victim has no leverage in this case and would therefore have to do whatever the kidnappers asked for, You even saw the victim mention the fate of the other kidnapped victims who have some how failed to make their own payments and yet, in all your wisdom, you some how skipped through all of that and decided to question the justification of the family of the victim withdrawing THEIR OWN MONEY to secure the release of a loved one.

I would try not to use any insulting words and I understand that everyone has the right to support any political party, I could care less if anyone thinks the current administration are performing admirably or poorly, however using a case like this to some how victim blame while completely turning a blind eye on the failures of the authorities and leaders who are supposed to prevent this in the first place makes me think very little of you.

Incorrect choice of words.

Only someone who has been wronged is in a position to forgive or not. Not the aggressor. Not the criminal.

It goes without saying that this isn't stereotyping of Fula as an ethnicity. The reference is only to the criminal elements among them - and every ethnicity has those.

Since everyone has the right to support any political party, why did you have to go bring up a post i made about politics into crime? Who cares about you or what you think? You think i had you in mind when i posted? i simply raised a point about money tracing. The victim in the OP didn't pay any money, he escaped. But the frequesnt ask for such huge amounts by kidnappers is what i tried questioning. Kidnappers should not be able to easily get such huge amounts without trace, whether 15 or 50million. It's why i mentioned that people shouldn't be able to easily withdraw such huge amounts in cash to go give to kidnappers. (i skipped the option where they'll pay/transfer the money into bank account of the kidnapper as that should not even be existent). Another forum member, Malagans, has poited out the issue of multiple accounts and POS. It's a discussion forum. If you refuse to see things beyond your prism of politics, tribe and religion, that's not my headache.

Because that shows that you see everything from a political perspective, which was why you went into an unnecessary defence mode and decided to blame a kidnap victim while vindicating the authorities and politicians who should prevent things like this from happening. It's very insensitive and I think very little of people who can't see things for what they truly are.

You're talking nonsense.

Even in Kwara state, not everywhere experiences the unrest. I'm currently at Kwara and I am tempted to get land here if not that I don't trust Muslim communities. They've been awesome since I've been here and the place is peaceful.

Because some villages are experiencing chaos, you turn it to all of Nigeria?

Oga, travel and see things for yasef sometimes.

Anyway, do as you like..
People who know better than you ranked Nigeria at number #4 across the world. Traveling to Kwara just once safely, does not mean the entire country is safe. With all that we've seen and heard, we can all agree that there's security issue in the country. What other country not at war has it this bad?! Even countries at war does not have this level of banditry and kidnappings. By the way, these care cases that made it to the social media. There are more that you and I don't know about.

By the way, Kwara is nice. Go for it if your mind is at peace with it, but do your assessments. For real...
