Over what exactly.
Toe this war reveal why the entire Middle East Countries are weary of Iran and why they all want USA protection. Imagine it's Iran vs Saudi Arabia, Saudi would have been in ruins now. Secondly, attacking your next door neighbor is simply not Smart
Next door neighbour wey de put poison for your food wen u de sleep?

None of these nations need US help. US is a colonial entity that Must leave the. Middle East.
Iran is the super power of the. Middle East.

Maduro was captured. Supleem leader was killed. Iran's nuclear objective I believe, has been pushed back to a great extent. The sole objective of the war is being met. IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. The allied forces Iran is attacking will not cut ties with the US or evacuate their troops from the region.

Terrorist sympathizers can go kiss the transformer
Nigeria Christian Church mugu sighted

USA has destroyed good life of the people of Yemen, saria, Libya etc promising useless democracy only to give them suffering, poverty, chaos with the aim of extraction of different mineral resources.

Israel destroyed their host (Palestine) all because for expansion yet you did not see any evil in such rubbish

USA kidnapped MADURO but Nigeria Christians did not see any evil in that

The evil USA/Israel combined to destroy Iran to bring their useless demon crazy to Iran

Iran government decided to fight to avoid the kind of Libya and Yemen demon crazy but 80% of Nigeria Christians like you are so senseless and still telling us about the same nuclear threat tactics used in Iraq and Libya

USA will be so disgraced this time and Israel will pay for it's genocide. Try and understand why Iran wants shipment to be done in Chinese YUAN, be assured that Iran will not run out of missiles

I wish you and ur evil USA/Israel bad luck

You have a war that is crippling your allies in the Middle East

A war that is bleeding global economy including your home inflation

A war you are begging for allies to join you one minute and expressing frustration the next

A war that you can no longer control, typically you claim you have won but can't pull out because the ball is now in Iran court while they tag you along for fight

A war that you are needing more budget approval running in hundreds of billions

A war that you say one and Iran say five not looking to surrender

A war to help a supposed people against their leaders yet the people have left you in the cold without support

A war that you keep "obliterating" an already obliterated nuclear joke

It's just the beginning for trump, Iran has nothing to loose
you are a perfect analyst

Bless up!

Well, miscalculation or not,Iran or any other country, the war is very necessary. A terrorist country must never be allowed to develop nuclear weapon.

No, he didn't, everything is going according to the plan. Even Israel is not worried. So let's all sit back and enjoy the show. People's expectations are off the roof, they(Public) expected a clean sweep, but we the general public are not war experts so we don't know and don't have first-hand information on what's going on. Finally, USA & Israel won't start what dey can't finish, or go to war with someone they can't win. It's totally impossible.

Is The Islamic Republic Of Pakistan 🇵🇰 not an Islamic country, or doesn't it have nuclear weapons?
It is one of the world's nine nuclear-armed states, with an estimated arsenal of over 170 warheads as of 2025, primarily designed to deter regional adversary India. Pakistan officially became a nuclear-armed state following a series of tests in May 1998.

Reference:
Every war is a miscalculation by one party or both. In this case all the parties have been belligerent towards one another for years so it was always only a matter of time for a foolish decision is taken and here we are.

Needless loss of lives, destruction, suffering and to make matters worse, at the end of everything and as I always say the issues about these wars will become irrelevant.

I simply don't know what drove the US and Israel to fight a regime that was already on its last legs. How many shots were fired for Communism in Europe to collapse in the 90's. Isn't it clear in 2026 that totalitarianism is never sustainable.

Even if there were no sanctions ever imposed on Iran, no assassinations, no bombings..... That regime will have been eaten alive by the people of Iran themselves. It was just a matter of time.

People should realize the nature of human existence. That the soul of man eternally craves liberty and the harsher a people are treated the less secure are the oppressors.

Today I cannot see how more secure Israel is or American interests in the middle east and I certainly don't see how this war will not prolong the insecurity in that region. Perhaps that is what sone folks want. Perhaps peace wil make them irrelevant.

Indeed there are some serious miscalculations in this situation.
From. What you have said why has the. Evil regime in Nigeria not left since 1960

Pakistan got theirs in the 20th century under strict agreements for counter-attacks only; they aren't the same as these radical Middle Eastern 'martyr' warriors. They are south Asian states.

Iran and these Middle Eastern Islamists have this thing in their DNA. They’ve been sponsoring terror for decades. And before anyone comes for me, I grew up in an Islamic state and I used to love it. But after seeing the killings in Maiduguri by people shouting 'Allahu Akbar,' my eyes opened. I despise jihadists the same way they despise us.

You can support them all you like, but if they’re going to be screaming 'Allahu Akbar' while holding nuclear triggers, then they must be banned. Any religion that paints dying on a battlefield as 'martyrdom' isn't just a faith—it’s a radical psychological movement. Period.

Enjoy the show? Innocent People , children, are being killed and maimed for this stupidity , for crying out loud. Would you be enjoying the show if the bombs were dropping in your village?

Yes, Trump miscalculated, isn't it obvious? Even nairalanders are feeling the impact via fuel prices.

He miscalculated, Except you say the plan was to destroy US bases in the middle east, disrupt maritime trade, send oil prices rocketing, fuel prices in US up, and reduce the power of the petro dollar, and/or distract from the Epstein Files.

The war remains illegal, and one that was not objectively planned. Even a 12 year old that follows current affairs can tell you this.

I’ve addressed that already. If you can support those sponsoring killings up north, then you’re no different.

Any religion that sees dying as martyrdom in this dispensation is cultism. Even Buddhist aren’t this radical. If they can be this stubborn with ballistic, let’s imagine what they can do with nuclear weapons.

Let’s call a spade a spade: Iran and these Islamic extremists have terrorism in their DNA—from the ones typing on Nairaland to the ones causing havoc in Maiduguri. We are talking about an ideology that sees dying on a battlefield with a dagger in the chest as 'martyrdom.' If they are this stubborn with just ballistic weapons, imagine the catastrophe if they get their hands on a nuclear bomb. The world would be finished

Let’s uproot the weed now to avoid the crops undergrowth.
This is a dull narrative.

Iranians are more educated than your country people.

Iran has no business with ISIS that is being sponsored by your political class to kill people.

Iran produced missiles for ages but you didn't hear nothing of it until now.

How exactly is Israel winning when their cities are in ruins, the lives of their citizens have been disrupted and economic activities are at a standstill in their country.

If you had $100 million to invest would you do so in Israel? undecided

Omo... all these ones are just conspiracies. Abeg, bring clear evidence. Aren’t the terrorists up North linked to that same Middle Eastern ideology? Why aren't they shouting 'Jesus is Lord' instead of 'Allahu Akbar'? What is even the meaning of Boko Haram?

Look, I’m not religious—I’m neither Christian nor Muslim, just a freethinker. But any religion still teaching people to bomb others in this 21st century? The followers need to bow their heads in shame. If Iran wasn't radical and actually had a clean record, I’d support them. But look at the history since the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks.

Now, people on Nairaland are trying to hide their conscience by forming 'Shia vs Sunni' grammar. Religion has clouded the intelligence of the majority; that’s why you see them protesting for Iran while their own backyard in Nigeria is on fire. It’s just religion and ego fueling Iran’s retaliation. If they weren't radical, they would have signed the no-nuclear deal long ago and we wouldn't be here.
Re: The US/Israel-Iran War: Did Donald Trump Miscalculate? by sweetjohn(m): 7:22pm On Mar 20
To me, Trump shouldn’t have join the war. He should have allowed Israel to do a better job alone but no he want to also partake of the glory. I keep saying this, the west and US can’t fight the Arab the way Israel would. Israel has the Middle East at the palm of her hand. That’s way they find it so easy to eliminate whoever they wanted. It takes the US many years just to eliminate Usama, it would have taken Israel few days as long as he resides in the Middle East. All the long awaited most wanted of US, the Israelis eliminated all of them within two months since Oct 7 2024. Trump would have sold all the necessary weaponry to Israel including the B2 bomber and allow Israel to handle Iran alone. But as much as I love trump I think he is greedy and want all praises to himself. He want to lead while Nathanyanhu follow his command and the more reason the war has lasted this long. Left for Nathanyanhu to handle this war alone, by now the whole world is will be crying and chanting “free free Iran”
