I think his mom merely echoed his own thoughts. The line about his mom isn't the important part of his statement.

They do not get it ....... by saying " my mother said " the Moroccan Federation cannot strip him of being captain because he is saying what his mother said. They cannot tell him to ignore his mother in public . It's a tactic I use till tomorrow. If I employ a plumber and he is taking too much time I will tell him " my sister said you should refund the money ". If I ask him to refund the money he will look for his revenge the next time he works for me but if I put my sister there my sister who he does not know takes the hit.
That is how you put pressure on people without them wanting to turn into Chelsea and Mourinho internal wahalam

Bro/Sis, mothers are smart. It is because of my mum's pressure on me that I am a property owner today. I was battling the immigration service of a European nation in court over getting papers and my mother back in Nigeria called me and said she knows a land available somewhere and that I should start thinking beyond Europe and should build the property. I was sending money to her and she build a big edifice for me complete with a well/borehole and fenced the place round. Why won't I die for such a mother I have? I did not return to Nigeria in shame. She has given several advice since then though I did not honor all of them but I can see her wisdom all along. I want to follow through with all her advice this year. Mum has always been spot on even with issues concerning my in laws. Hmn.

The woman is very wise and she has saved the boy multiple times from disaster.

She is saving him once again from something spiritual in the form of curses from the whole African continent who feel a grave injustice has been done to Senegal.
We should all pray for a mother like that.

Without that woman Hakimi may have been begging for money currently because his ex wife would have wrecked him to the bone.
