Lol 😂… Just imagine! Lifting sanction on the same country you’re at war with. DT has terribly failed on this.. As I’ve said before this war was hugely unnecessary |

I'm SpencerForbes:Do you think Iran is senseless. Trump is seeing the big picture of his possible impeachment if America economy continues to bite harder on the citizen. he will either swallow his pride and announce ceasefire or he will got disgrace from office. Iran will never sell any oil to them. Trump is just big for nothing. he think America is what it use to be many years ago when all countries fear them because of different weapons possessed but now some countries have also developed thiers too. ordinary Iran is showing him shege, what will become countries like North Korea, china and russia if they are at war. no wonder he don't like to offend them even when provoked. Iran is not Venezuela. |

TruthU87:Delusion, you think America is affected by the oil price? Lol, America secured Venezuelan oil, before the operation. And you saying F35 proven useless, because of damages, were there no suppose to be damages You just ended up writing trash, what's replace Khameni with Khameni, how many terrorist are dead in Iran? |

| Re: U.S Lifts Sanctions On Iranian Oil In Effort To Stabilize Markets by Nobody: 1:32pm On Mar 21 |
kedeojo:Correction please! If the sanctions were only from the US, do you think Iran would have 140 million barrels of oil rotting on the sea? They would have sold it to China and India long ago. The truth is the US blocked the global pipes. Nobody wanted to touch that oil and face the US Treasury. On the war: Anyone expecting it to end in a week doesn't understand history. Even the war in Syria took years. You are fighting people with a martyrdom complex—people who use suicide bombers don't fear death, so you can't "scare" them into surrendering. People say Iran is giving the US a "tough time," but they forget that modern wars aren't fought like the 1940s. Israel and the US are following international laws; they are targeting Military Heads, not flattening every city. If this was a war of genocide, Iran would have been a desert on Day 1. The US is playing the long game of Regime Change, not mass killing. So, while Iran is "winning" by throwing stones and noise, Israel is winning by systematically deleting their top leaders. There’s a massive difference. As for Russia and China? Abeg, stop the hype. Russia has been struggling in Ukraine for years with boots on the ground, and China hasn't fought a real war in decades—nobody actually knows their real military might. This suffering is a "necessary evil." We cannot allow a radical regime to get their hands on Nuclear Weapons. It’s not about religion; it’s about global survival. Nukes in the hands of radicals is a death sentence for humanity. |

SpencerForbes:SpencerForbes my gee how you dey. What I am saying is everyone knows Trump miscalculated. Everyone in international media is saying it, even his hardcore MAGA supporters are saying it. Trump that has destroyed their Army and Navy cannot go to strait Homuz. The US government has avoided direct conflict with Iran since 1979. Trump is the first to wage war with Iran against the wishes of former Advicers . Everyone knows America is not winning, the war is on stalemate and will end in stalemate. There is going to be no winner. Everyone is going to lose. |
| Re: U.S Lifts Sanctions On Iranian Oil In Effort To Stabilize Markets by Nobody: 1:38pm On Mar 21 |
Alikoooooooooo:I’m happy you said stalemate and I hope it ends that way because war doesn’t help the global economy but as long as we ain’t having any nuclear plant in Iran, that’s a win for me. |
| Re: U.S Lifts Sanctions On Iranian Oil In Effort To Stabilize Markets by Alikoooooooooo: 1:45pm On Mar 21 |
SpencerForbes:As long as no nuclear bombs are fired at Nigeria I don't care who has one or who doesn't . Amazing how Africa is the most defenceless continent but will survive because it will not be bombed. Amazing |

I never envisaged the biggest crisis fr Iran since the US backed Shah was toppled in 1979 to involve lifting the heavy oil sanctions on them but it’s mostly lack of oversight on the US part I mean Iran is not a country you just go to war with unprepared doesn’t matter if your a superpower |
| Re: U.S Lifts Sanctions On Iranian Oil In Effort To Stabilize Markets by bizzibodi(m): 2:05pm On Mar 21 |
Iran should reject the lifting of sanctions,Iran should blow up all their crude oil refineries & oil facilities to spite the US. |

Smartguyboy:The United States doesn’t have “magic power” to sanction countries—it has built financial, economic, and geopolitical leverage over decades that gives it enormous influence. Think of sanctions as a tool, and the U.S. happens to control many of the systems that global trade depends on. Here’s how that works in simple terms: 1. Control of the global financial system 💰 The biggest reason is the dominance of the U.S. dollar. • Most international trade (oil, goods, etc.) is priced in dollars • Banks around the world use U.S. financial systems to settle transactions • If the U.S. cuts a country off, that country struggles to trade globally The U.S. can tell its banks—and even foreign banks—“don’t do business with this country or you lose access to us.” 2. Influence over global payment networks 🌍 A key system here is SWIFT. • SWIFT connects thousands of banks worldwide • It enables cross-border money transfers • When a country is removed (like Iran or Russia in some cases), it’s like being cut off from the global financial internet Even though SWIFT isn’t American-owned, U.S. pressure heavily influences decisions. 3. Economic size and market power 📊 The U.S. is one of the largest economies in the world. • Companies everywhere want access to the U.S. market • If the U.S. says “choose between us or that sanctioned country,” most choose the U.S. This creates secondary sanctions—even non-U.S. companies comply. 4. Legal authority and enforcement ⚖️ Sanctions are enforced through U.S. laws and agencies like: • Treasury Department (especially OFAC) • Ability to freeze assets held in U.S. banks • Power to fine companies billions for violations Because many global transactions pass through U.S. banks, the U.S. can reach far beyond its borders. 5. Alliances and global institutions 🤝 The U.S. often works with allies and organizations like: • International Monetary Fund • World Bank When multiple countries act together, sanctions become much more powerful and harder to bypass. 6. Ability to “unsanction” 🔓 Lifting sanctions is simply the reverse: • The U.S. removes restrictions • Banks can resume transactions • Trade and investment reopen Because the U.S. helped block access in the first place, its approval helps restore access. Simple analogy Imagine global trade as a huge highway system: • The U.S. controls many of the main toll gates and fuel stations • If it blocks a country, that country can’t travel easily • When it reopens the gates, movement resumes Bottom line The U.S. can sanction and unsanction countries because it sits at the center of: • Global finance (dollar dominance) • Banking systems • Trade networks • Political alliances It’s not absolute power—but it’s structural power built into how the world economy works. |

Ishilove: SpencerForbes:There's no glut because Iran's oil is already and has always been on the international market. Despite US sanctions, shadow fleet have been smuggling Iranian oil to places like China. Countries have been buying it at a discount (discount/cheaper because Iran needs to sell the oil and its market is limited because of sanctions). All this will mean is that Iranian oil will become a little more expensive for China and other customers because Iran now has a greater choice of customers, but the oil has always been available. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_shadow_fleet
