As Nigeria drifts towards becoming a failed state, as hopelessness spreads over Tinubu's draconian economic policies, where is Tunde Bakare, Femi Falana, Adeboye and co? Who would ever believe that notable fiery activists like Tunde Bakare and co, who blackmailed, cursed and attacked Jonathan's government in 2012 over a nationwide protest against an N80 per litre increase in fuel price would go dumb, silently become invisible over the monumental leadership failures of a Tinubu corrupt government that stands against all what they protested for, leading to an astronomical rise in fuel price to well over N1500 per litter? https://m.youtube.com/shorts/tj9iKkbJhZU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oUNzw3Iq9E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJX8_114wOU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7opQ3hmTlNs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBVJB4m8_zs Even shameless Tinubu, castigated Jonathan as you can see in the video below.... Tinubu, the chief architect of Nigeria's current economic woes, also deceived Nigerians in 2012, protested against insecurity, fuel subsidy removal only to turn around to remove it on his presidential inauguration ceremony.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSv5gcJw31Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m7DpkDylds Pastor Adeboye, another notable activist led protest during Buhari's government against insecurity..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkay0hqPn5A The christian killings that Adeboye protested against under Jonathan and Buhari's government has since trippled as Nigeria's security crisis has gone out of control over Tinubu's government while Adeboye and other popular compromised religious leaders remain silent over the ongoing killings by Islamic fulani jihadists..... I will once again ask where are all the fake activists that blackmailed, protested and attacked Jonathan's government? |

I am not a supporter of this government but I take issues with your post. We must remain objective in our criticisms. The government has no hand in the current increase in fuel prices. The downstream sector is deregulated. Government pays no subsidies and that's a good thing. The situation in the middle east has affected every country on earth. Some more than others. Your post is misleading. |

It is your comment that is misleading because these men championed a nationwide protest convincing Nigerians that Jonathan's government never meant well for them only to grab power to do the opposite of what they preached.... You should be calling them out over their hypocrisy instead of spreading lies in defense of Tinubu's deceptive government.... What has Nigeria gained from fuel subsidy removal? Where are the savings? Dogalmighty17:But the head of the current government protested when the previous government attempted to deregulate the downstream sector by removing subsidy. They even called subsidy a scam. They protested about killing corruption how far with corruption so far? According to unconfirmed reports former CBN governor Godwin Emefiele has returned 4TN to the Nigeria government. |

Dogalmighty17:Oga you're just blowing grammar. Increase in oil prices in Nigeria is caused by a few greedy Nigerians using the crises in middle east as excuse. Nigeria is a major oil producer and coupled with the fact that we now have the dangote refinery working at optimal capacity I don't see reason for price increase. Infact I doubt Nigerian crude passes through that straight of Hormuz. |

Just watch If Tinubu wins second term now Boom they would start to attack him In fact if he wins his biggest attackers would come from South West they know fully well the attack wont result in anything They would do it to position themselves again as saviors of Nigeria |

I see a lot of commenters above accusing me of supporting this government even though I clearly mentioned that I'm not. But let the facts speak and not sentiments. There is a lot to criticise this government for but not this. 1. Oil is a very fungible commodity. It can be imported from anywhere and be utilized. Nigeria as a member of OPEC cannot sell oil below its international price to Dangote. Oil prices, depending on grade are the same worldwide. 2. Nigeria barely struggles to meet its OPEC quota. It barely produces enough daily that can meet its international obligations, settle creditors and at the same time, supply to one of the largest refineries on earth. This shortfall is the reason why Dangote has to import crude from the US mostly. The Nigerian government cannot give him enough. 3. The loans Buhari collected were against our future crude production. In other words, Nigeria is using part of its daily crude production, to meet up with its debt obligations. Donald Trump cannot order US oil companies to reduce prices. Tinubu cannot either for such firms in Nigeria. |

Dogalmighty17:You're getting on my nerves with this irritating nonsense. Nobody cares about this your long grammar. Bottom line is that oil smeared characters like Wole Soyinka, Falana, and Abeboye openly protested against subsidy removal/deregulation by the Jonathan government and the subsequent increase in fuel price. Why have they kept quiet now that their oily brother Tinubu removed subsidy, thus resulting in uncontrolled increases in fuel price? THAT is the issue. If you can't directly address that, then just keep shut and get lost. |

It is really sad that conscience is simply for sale for the highest political bidder in Nigeria. This is why there are litters of conscienceless souls who have sold themselves to any devil in government

Dogalmighty17:Your response is misleading: Before the so called "issues" in the Middle East, how much was petrol pump price? Compared to before inauguration of this present Government. This present Government met petrol pump price at N185/N200 as at May 28th, ,2023, how much is the pump price now Mr. Middle East "issue" |
