Someone had postulated that the artesh faction of the Iranian army are not fully in tandem with the Qud forces or IRGC.

I think there’s been some mutiny in the Iranian military. A new faction backed by the west will assume power.
So it’s not a hostile takeover per se. I think it’s to provide support and crush resistance when this new factional leader emerges. Machiavellian playbook.

I think what is playing out here in iran is tribalism , the Quad are the people ruling Iran now and wants to retain power by all means through khensmi son but the other tribes v been totally out of control for over 40years of khemsni rule and needs a stronger support on ground to be able to ride and the protest too ,many of them were killed so if the US and allied troops are on Iranian soil, the push will start and it will be over
