Watching the video gives chill pimples. Here are 2 young pilots @ the prime of their flying career who have safely travelled many miles only to land then meet their gruesome end.

They came in via the cockpit and now will be leaving via the cargo hood. What a world! Rest in peace pilots. Speedy healing to the wounded.

It’s sad that multiple crashes have happened in the uSA in recent times. If it were any other developing country, we would have blamed it on inexperience. But the almighty USA is messing up here bad needs to get its act together.

That airport is poorly lit and it is no brainer that visibility will be very poor. Truck is supposed to have a warning flashing light with reflective luminescent colours too but it was a struggle to see the truck.

Finally, are the trucks not supposed to stop when airplanes are landing ni and can they not have a traffic warden on ground especially during such brief period instead of relying on controllers who are several metres away.

This got to show that we're all humans non is perfect or above mistake. One mistake could either save or destroy live. Live is precious. May the departed souls find peace.

It was an active runway controllers don't stay on active runways they guide the pilots to taxi into it. Besides the truck driver and passenger should have looked before entering the runway even though they were cleared by the ATC to cross. From the video they didn't look they just tried to cross. If they had looked they would have seen the plane. Landing planes are usually very noisy and difficult not to notice. The ATC and the truck driver are at fault here.

I listened to the air traffic controller's comms with the airplane.

Wasn't the pilot's fault nor the truck's.

ATC had too much to handle at that moment.

You could blame him and his team but it's clear they were overwhelmed.
