Tdoctor:no need waiting. I don tell you wetin dey. If interested, message me; best I could do is provide you brand name + model, and inform you how NEAT it is as most could be mistaken as brand new. I am not a picture person. Especially since I could end up disturbing the owner for nothing. |

Pls is there a proper way to earth inverter system to prevent it from thunder/lightning during rainy season? Any video or insight will be highly appreciated |

bassdow:you're right about making the work neater, to me I think mc4 connectors are just got asthetics, not necessary for better performance. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 7:01am On Mar 25 |
fuckboys:scale of project matters. also makes for easy error detections as you could easily disconnect without thinking of how to unTie and reTie things after checking for things. BUT for small projects, especially pesonal ones, not worth it much especially considering the price of any mc4 more than 1-way. |

Just received word that a connection lost their home on Sunday due to Solar/Inverter/Battery system fire. Are there any IP65 rated batteries and Inverters? If i jump into solar because AEDC are more useless than two follicles of hair, I really do not want it in my house anymore. IP65 rating will help with outdoor placement |

lungwun:make people no cut cost on wires. Wires and breakers are major cause of these fires. An installer once used a 1.5mm wire for my inverter connection. Once day I went there as a curious person and I saw that the wires are burning already. The insulation was already burnt. I upgraded everything to 2.5mm. |

Gshems:Did the wires become cool after the upgrade? |

Gshems:Omor my grid wires AC in and out na 6mm² o, i nor fit shout. Battery cable na 35mm². PV na original 6mm² (separate cores) . All spds, avrs and breakers properly sized. Abeg make we nor dey compromise for these things, they are critical. |

Guys abeg, my wife got home to see our inverter beeping with error code 04. I told her to swith off the breaker one by one till we found out that it is the pv input that is causing the fault. When I got home, I isolated the breaker cos I just got that 2 days ago (still the same). The moment I disconnected the pv cable from the breaker it stops. My inverter is currently working when my pv cable disconnected. But when the pv cable is connected it starts to hum and show fault code 04. This was around 6:30pm. I just replaced my old panels to 2 535 in series 2 days ago. Anyone with similar experience |
