I hate to break it to you but it's obvious you don't know how aircraft carriers operate. They are covered by extreme high altitude aerial support, a submarine, several frigates and destroyers. It's almost impossible to get to them and if you do attempt to attack them, wherever your missile was fired from will be levelled to debris.

I support neither American nor Iran, they both have deep issues but that doesn't change the fact.

It's not about entertainment, not about razzmatazz. Now enroute to achieving your set objectives, staging is also employed as a key strategy.

War is not limited to propaganda and grand standing. The US does not need to obliterate Iran to achieve their objectives but that is not to say they can't if that was their desire.
